| I wouldn't really recommend Targot Card readings because they are too
general. I also don't like them because the cards show a lot of
negativity.
If you are interested I see an angel reader who is really good. She
helped to organize the angel conference in Cambridge a while back
and has done alot to radio shows.
I can tell she has been on the money 95% of the time.
The name of her store is Angelica's in Salem Mass.

| Hi,
FYI I would recommend Tarot card readings because they are very
acurate. I'm sorry to hear that the person in the previous note did
not have a good experience. I took a tarot class for 4 months and I
have been doing readings for 4 years now. I can find a lot of
information about people and their circumstances just from a card
reading. Nothing is hidden in the cards. If the reading has some
negative cards in it then they are not fixed....You can change your
attitude or pattern, and thus change the result. It just tells you
if you continue in that negative pattern or behavior what the result
will be. As always in life YOU DETERMINE YOUR OUTCOME.
I have not had a reading by this person in Marlboro. However, if you
feel "drawn" to this than make an appointment.

Hello,
I also want to state that Tarot Reading isn't that bad. The results of a
reading heavily depends on the reader AND the person who consults the
reader. If somebody doesn't feel comfortable with the cards and is not
willing to be open and accept the message of the cards, then it is a
good thing to use another method (palm, astrology, ...). A good tarot
reading is like looking into a mirror, seeing yourself and the reader
could only help you to translate the symbols that the cards will show.
Another point is that every card has a broad range of meanings, but at
any given time only a snapshot of that range is true for the specific
reading. Also even "bad" cards like The DEATH can be good ones, when
the very moment ask for these qualities in a certain situation. For example
The DEATH could ask for a complete and drastic change in your life to
change a unsatisfactory situation or a problematic realtionship. In an other
reading the same card could stand for sitting down and meditating about the
fact that we all will die some day. This could lead to a refocussing of
your daily actions/reactions to the sometimes difficult or boring everyday
life.
There could be much more said about tarot readings, but it was not my intent
to change the original topic of this note. Maybe there will be another
note at another time somewhere ...

| For the moment, I also have to contribute to the "good" experiences of
Tarot card readings. I don't know much about them, and have relied on
a friend who has been doing my readings.
I cannot speak for the accuracies yet, as much of what was discussed is
near future events; coming attractions, if you will. Most of the
readings have been in line with what has been going on in my emotional
life.
Most surprising to me has been the lack of perjudice by this reader, as
we have been friends for many years, and she knows me well. However,
she seems to be able to separate that relationship for the bulk of the
reading; allowing it to drift in at the end of a reading.
I went to another pyschic last year, who threw in her own very personal
prejudices with the readings. I found this to be very annoying, and
for some people, could be downright dangerous emotionally. As it
turned out, she was dead wrong on almost everything anyway.
One more thing: There are no negatives in my readings, and I asked
her about that: "All you read is positive. Aren't there any
negatives? I suppose if there were, you wouldn't tell me anyway."
She disagreed and said that yes, there are oftentimes negatives, but
it is a personal decision of the reader as to whether or not to tell
the person, or how much to tell. She assured me, she would tell me.
Since she's a friend, I trust her. I'm not so sure about someone
else.
FWIW.

| Hi Bill,
there is a problem with "bad" messages in tarot readings. Because this is a
very difficult situation for every reader, there is no standard way to
handle this.
I personally do the following:
- When I really see very bad things (?), I am very careful what I will be
telling the person. First of all I could be misinterpreting the cards
(yes, this happens!). If I really belief I am right I will not tell the
person about the bad things I see. Every reading should help the person
and "bad messages" (like: "you will be dying in the near future") aren't
usually not helpful. With real bad messages I try to interpret the reading
in a way that will lead the person to a
point, where he/she could work on changing the situation. Also I personal-
ly don't believe that cards show an absolute, unchangable future. I think
they are more like giving us a snapshot of the energies that are around
a person and some sort of trend that will follow.
- With not so bad messages, I usually tell the people that the cards give
some directions that things are getting worse in this or that way/area.
Next I try to tell them how to work with this situation and what to do
to change it or what he can learn from this messages. Sometimes the cards
give some sort of "wake-up message".
- Finally I have to state that no card is only bad or only good. Every card
has a broad range from really worse to heavenly good.
There is much more to say, but the next meeting starts in a few minutes.
Maybe it would be nice, if some of the tarot readers in this notes file
could discuss there way of reading in an extra note.
Have a nice day,
Klaus

| KLAUS:
Thanks for the reply. I like the concept of "energies" of a possible
future. And, I must confess to having a lot of negative energy around
me in the past. Recently, I have become aware of this, and have begun
a program of positive change. The results are astounding, even for a
doubting Thomas like myself (and my middle name is Thomas).
I think my friend is picking up on this positive change and resultant
energy, so that my possible future is now certainly more accessible;
not that it wasn't always there, but now it is becoming more dominant.
I would also like to hear more from other readers.
Regards,
Bill
