I went there once about 4 or 5 years ago. It was quaint, but the tea wasn't
that good, and the reading stunk, to be blunt. I was hoping to get someone
who was really good and not just someone who would ask LOTS of questions and
then try to buffalo me into thinking s/he was really telling me something I
didn't know. Unfortunately, what I got, and so did my girlfriend, who went to
another so-called 'psychic,' was someone asking LOTS of questions, and then
trying to buffalo me into thinking he was really telling me something I didn't
know.
Perhaps things have changed over the years, so I will try to find out the name
of the place and get back to you.

1744.2 | I finally found the info ... | SPI::TANNY | | Fri Oct 09 1992 13:58 | 13 |

Sorry it took so long to get this. I couldn't find the name or number, but it
is located between Park Street Station and Downtown Crossing. You come out of
Park Street Station and walk across Tremont Street. There is an almost
alley-like little street (Winter St.?) right there, and you walk down the
right-hand side, towards Downtown Crossing. The Tea Shop is fairly near the
beginning of this little street, up above a shoe store on the right hand side.
My recollection is you actually go into the shoe store entrance, or a door right
next to it. I seem to recall a small sign outside, but you may have to ask a
shop keeper for the exact location. Hope this helps.

1744.4 | An established Tea Room | EVMS::K_COLLINS | | Fri Oct 16 1992 17:28 | 11 |
| I have been following this topic with great interest! From the
discription in .3, I am sure that I visited this Tea Room about three
times in 1970. I can't believe it is still there! There was a women
who was a bit heavy, dark hair (grey now?), very gypsy looking (what do
I know?) - she was great!! I wish I could remember all the things she
told me, but I do remember some things that were eerily similar to what
happened in real life.
Think I'll visit the next time I'm in Boston.
