I'm not sure if this is the write conference to address this, but here goes. I've been reading books by Moshe Feldenkrais, Gerald Epstein, Ken Dtychwald and Michael Gelb, but I have not practiced their methods very much. I've decided to practice some of the techniques, but I'm not sure what I can expect from them. Can someone tell me about their experiences? How do you feel when you begin the exercises? How do you feel during and how do you feel after? I would also like to know how you find the connection between the body and the mind.. Linda

Linda, I'm not directly familiar with the techniques you mentioned (though I've heard of Feldenkrais), however yoga is yet another body/mind/ spirit technique, and I know that the head of yoga instruction at Kripalu Center highly endorses Feldenkrais. You could also try the HOLISTIC and MASSAGE conference (not sure of the nodes offhand though). Cindy |
