    I'm confused. I thought "our" Zeffel was another a previous walk-in
    into Jeanne Atkinson's body currently occupied by Talligai. Am I

    as a current reader/user of DEJAVU and also working on UTROP1 ( it's
    the machine of Utrecht, the Netherlands) and also knowing the writer
    (Wim de Groot) from .0 I can assure you that his note was honestly
    meaned and NOT faked !

I am verry upset and feel offended on note 1711.2

The guy I spoke last Friday told me upfront that
based on his message some people would get confused,
because they are not ready and/or don't have the right
perception to understand.

To do a favor for someboddy else, I didn't know that I opened a
can of worms.

However, to protect my own good name and fame this
discussion is for me closed.

This "Zeffel" has nothing to do with the vehicle that is occupied by
Talligai or the former lifestream "Zeffel" that once inhabited this
vehicle.

They are completely separate lifestreams.

Hope this clears things up "a little".

Hello,

To clean things up I feel obliged to tell you what happened on
the evening of Friday the 14th of august.

But, before the story comes first some facts:

A - During that evening I had to attend a concert given by
    the European Community Youth Orchestra (9th Symphony of
    Beethoven) sponsored by Digital.

B - After the concert we had planned a meeting (about 10.30)
    with some friends, who where over from Geneva, in the lobby
    of the Novotel in Amsterdam.  

C - We arrived at 10.15 at the hotel, we asked the room numbers
    of our friends and phoned them. They where not their.
    We decided to wait in the lobby till at least 10.45

D - Because their aren't that much separate seats we had to
    share a small coffee table with an other person who was
    alone.

Here comes the story:

After a ordering a cup of coffee and a few minutes later
the person next to me asked me and my wife if we enjoyed the
concert (easy to ask, because the program was laying on the
table). After telling him that we enjoyed it very much, he asked
the both of us of we worked for Digital. I told him that I work
for Digital. Then he said "Though times for Digital" but never
the less When the times get though, the though get going" My wife
laughed about that sentence, I didn't because I heard it before.
Then we chat about the present situation with lay-offs and so
on. On a certain moment he asked me when I joined Digital, I
told him Jan-1-1984, then he said so your badge number (he paused for
a couple of seconds) must be in the 155K area, then he looked in my
eyes, and said "Am I wrong when I say that your badge number is 155004."

He hit it on the nail, I was impressed but confused, I said to
him, hey come on, who told you, who are you, who is setting me up?

Than he said "You told me your badge #, you have telepathic powers
which are not aware to you on this moment" the minut that I mentioned
the word "Badge" you transmitted to me a "Picture" of that badge.
Indeed he was right, when he mentioned badge I thought about that
thing, that I needed a new one because it is all curled up.  

Time is off my sight, tommorow I tell you more.
I can asure you, it becomes verry interresting.

Before I continue the story it is necessary to tell you some facts
about myself, my wife and my friends .

Wim,      Amiable/expressive/pragmatic/two feed on the ground,
          well educated, very skeptical but a broad interest
          in everything what I can see, feel and touch, not
          easy to see my emotions (poker face).

Jeanne,   My wife, Social/expressive/theoretical, a degree in
          behavior science, teacher.

Peter,    very expressive,very skeptical, a salesperson in
          optima forma, born in the UK, lives in Geneva.

Sara-Lee, Peters wife, very creative, teacher in music and
          a conductor, born in the US.

Jean Paul Marketing Manager by one of our competitors, two
          feed on the ground, skeptical, not easy to convince
          can only think between black and white, born in the
          French part of Switzerland. Religious (Roman Catholic).

Ilse,     Jean Pauls wife, housewife, mother of 5 children,
          religious, same character as Jean Paul, Born in the
          German part of Switzerland, speaks fluent German, French,
          Italian an Spanish.
  
Yesterday I showed my wife what I send you, she had two comments.

1. He was spoken Dutch to us, the impression he gave us that he
   was born in the Netherlands.
2. He didn't say "when the time" aso., but said "when the going get
   tough, the tough get going".

Part 2 of the story:

At that time (about 10.45) our friends arrived, because we didn't
see each other for more than a year, the kissing, hugging and talking
ceremony took about 10 minutes. At that moment I didn't realize that 
the other person walked quietly to the Bar.
As I told you before the lobby didn't had the possibility to have
a party of 6 people around a small coffee table we decided to have
a drink at the hotel's bar. When we entered the bar there was one
guest (guess who it was). When my wife saw him, she told the others
about the badge, we introduced each other and then he mentioned for
the first time his name (not his last name) BTW. the conversation
was in English. My wife talked again about the batch. Than at a
certain moment the very,very skeptical Peter made a comment that
it must be a trick and that it took a lot more to prove that ESP
exist. Than Zeffel said "Normally I don't do this, but if you agree
I will tell you and the others some things I about yourself".
Peter laughed and said "I am waiting".

Without going into details, he started easy, telling Peter about
his hobby's Skiing, model aircraft. Than about his character.
About his physical condition and problems.
Then he went into the very serious facts, exact day and place of
birth, about his father, his mother, his children, his first wife.
Everything right on the nail, We where baffled, Peter and Sara-Lee
where both white as a corpus.

Time is off my sight, tomorrow I tell you more about what he told
us about auscultation, aura's and what he told us about him self.

    of weeks ago. 
    
    To answer your question, the :-) represents a "smiling face" It's used
    when someon wants to point out they are using subtle or even blatant
    humor. There are about a zillion variations on it. They are listed
    somewhere in here and in about every valuing differences and employee
    interest conference that there is.

    You left CGVAX2 a couple of weeks ago and I just came on a couple
    of weeks ago.  I see the "smiling face" now that you mention it.
    
    Another question..How can I get my header in " " next to my name?
    

    In the character-cell version of notes you say:

	SET PROFILE/PERSONAL_NAME="<whatever>"

    at the NOTES prompt.

    I don't know precisely for for DECWINDOWS NOTES (never use it) but
    it will be somewhere among the customizing stuff.

			    Topher

    Just type in the following at the NOTES > prompt:
    
    Set profile/personal_name="your cute phrase here." followed by a
    return.
    
    Also, to learn more about NOTES, at the prompt type in HELP and follow
    the instructions. I found the new_user command and the information
    following to very useful, especially since I only know enough about
    computers and computer language protocol and command structure to be
    dangerous. :-)
