Well, like many of us I have been worried about Digital's future as well.
I follow both astrology and numerology, so I did an
in-depth numerological analysis of 'Digital Equipment Corporation':
it's called the Table of Events, and it maps out year by year the
nature of the experiences an entity will have (I have it on my home
computer).
Interestingly, for those of you who know numerology, the essence
number of this 1992, 1991 and 1990 all equals '16', which is the number
of the payment of karmic debt, with an associated feeling of humiliation.
(Sure seems to fit). For 1993, the letters and numbers change. (I
don't remember much more detail, but I do recall that Digital doesn't
have another '16' year for at least another 5 years, and it's only for
one year.)
I'm not sure I believe in 'karmic' debt, but I know that these profiles
have been very accurate. Hopefully this means
Digital's struggles are over with the new calendar year!
By the way, according to numerology the way to minimize the '16' experience
is to use the discernment and intelligence also part of the '16' essence,
given by the '7', which '16' adds up to (eg, think smart).

| ...and last night I dreamt that one of the top news stories was that
our stock price had just dropped below $20. I don't remember the rest
of the dream but I do remember having the sense that Digital was in a
downward spiral it just could not get out of.
Was it a dream, or reality?

Can someone decipher a nightmare I have been having?
I am sitting in my office and a manager comes and taps me on the
shoulder holding a stack of boxes and a Happy Meal.

astrology/tarot/whatever reading for Digital?

| I dreamed several weeks ago that Digital's stock dropped to 30. I
phoned in a sell order about 2 minutes before 3:00, then realized it
was a mistake. It was too late to take it back. The next morning (on
the sell day) the stock was at 5!!!
Arrrgghhhh!!!

| As of this morning, Digital Equipment Corp. is officially DEAD.
This news may be a shock to some of you, but then again some of you are
not me. At least the last time i checked you weren't. If you were me,
you would know what reality really is (at least to me). According to
my own personal perception of reality, DEC is gone, finished.
I AM is now WAS. But was i? Am i?
If DEC is no longer part of my mental awareness, and I WAS, i guess that
means that those of you who were, are now no longer. Sorry, but i am
afraid that none of you really exist anymore, so have a nice eternity
wherever yours may be.
...On the other hand, i am not an employee anyway, and so maybe since
DEC never recognize the fact that I AM or that i even was, i must be
an alien! Since aliens don't officially exist anyway, i guess i'll
just cover up the fact that any of this ever happened.
At the count of THREE, you will remember nothing. ONE, TWO...
