| No difference in my telepathy, but sometimes real problems with my
energy field.
I've been known to set off a fire alarm just by walking past, have
screwed up the MR3-1 elevator on more than one occasion, my t.v. on/off
may never be the same, and back in the early days crashed systems by
getting too close at the wrong time.

Like Mary, I notice my energy fields are stronger and less controlled,
but I don't affect electronics (except maybe my car radio speakers).
In some ways, I feel like I become one great big fire beacon.

I seem to notice that MORE things come to me, more activity at
my mother's house (which has it's resident ghost/energy) especially when
I visit. Doors open, things go bump in the night, the dogs act up.
Pretty fun!
Mine is not so much less control because I believe my ability is more
of a receptive nature. In other words, I can't seem to predict things
if I try to about them, but I'll just have these thoughts, dreams or
feelings that will come to me and will be true. Much more active and
accurate when I'm "PMS". I suspect it must have something to do with
hormones, but then again....who knows?

| In this case the author did not set it "hidden", I, acting as a
moderator did. Sometimes there is something in a note which needs
to be resolved and then the author or a moderator may set it hidden.
Resolution may result in it being set "unhidden" again, or in it being
deleted, or in an explanatory note being posted and it being set
"unhidden" or in a revised version being posted and the original
deleted.
In this case, I suspect that one of the less extreme resolutions will
be invoked, but we'll have to see.
Everyone who participates in this conference should carefully read
topic 1.*, where these matters are explained.

| re the cycle and electrical field.. my wife burns out battery-powered
quartz watches.. it's to the point it's a family tradition, and she
buys several cheap watches at a time. It's rare that a watch lasts more
than two months/cycles.

That's weird......I never really thought of it either. Every now
and then my watches will just lose time. No consistant pattern
either, nor any specific amt, nor anything to do with the batteries.
This did just happen the other day too.....
I should start a notebook and keep track of all these things such as
my watch stopping, my "knowings" and events to track this pattern. Not
to mention my dreams as well....I'll bet it could be pretty
interesting.

| Interesting. My sister was could never use a mechanical wristwatch
because they would freeze up and have to be degaussed. She always
had a pendent watch on a necklace, which seemed to work OK.
Now that she is past menopause, we'll have to try a wristwatch
again. BTW she is a good water dowser as well...mwr

| For my 21st birthday I was given an automatic watch, this was long
before any electrically operated watches were on the market. It worked
fine for about 3 months then stopped dead. It was repaired several
times, then it was replaced. Other models were tried, I also wore it on
the other wrist, but in the end I had to settle for a ordinary watch.
The explanation offered was my wrist movements somehow jammed the
mechanism. Battery operated analog watches and digital watches work just
fine on me.

My Grandmother has the same problem. Although she is well past
menopause (in her 80s) she cannot wear a wrist watch either mechanical
or battery operated. She has never been able to wear a watch on her
wrist more than a few days before it stops. She does have a very nice
pendant watch her children gave her and she wears this with no problem.

1688.14 | It seems to run in families, but . . . | SPI::TANNY | | Mon Jun 29 1992 12:55 | 34 |
| RE: .7 on
I've never been able to wear any kind of watch - battery, quartz, electric,
since they always stop, get sent in for repair, then stop within 2 more weeks.
I was once told this was because I had 'too much electro-magnetism' in my body,
though I can't remember who said that, just that my parents were told it.
Also, when I walk by or touch radios, television receiving antennas, etc, it
interferes with the reception, usually making it better, but sometimes, not.
I'm also very empathic - I call people I know - acquaintances and friends alike -
to ask what's wrong, and inevitable they'll come out with a tale of woe. This
happens even if I haven't seen or heard from them in several years. I've never
kept notes to see if any of these activities have a cyclical pattern, but . .
now the clincher. My 5-year old son has the very same effects on televisions,
radios, etc, only stronger than mine. Don't know about watches, yet, though.
Also, the week before his second birthday he had a pre-cognitive dream about
something terrible happening in the street, and expressed alot of fear for me
saying (with his little hands on either side of my face, 5 times), 'Mommy, don't
go in the street. You could get very hurt in the street.' The next morning,
a semi tractor trailer hit a tree a few yards from our house. I was the first
person to get to the truck, the driver of which was slammed in between the cab
and the tree trunk. He died on the scene about an hour later from massive
head and chest injuries. The rest of this story is pretty wild, too, but I won't
go into it here. From the time he was 15 months old, my son has often told me
and his babysitters not only when the phone would ring, but who would be on the
other end of it, though in the last year or so these things seem to be waning
for him (I think because his father and I are divorcing).
So in conclusion, I'd say it does run in families, but I'm not certain it's
gender specific.
(As an aside, my 2.5 year old son hasn't yet demonstrated any of these things.)

Re. wristwatches,
Very interesting! I was in Mass. last week, and as it happened it was
my "time". The whole time I was there, my relatively new watch, which
has malfunctioned periodically ( :^) ) since I bought it 4 months ago,
kept stopping. Friday, it began working again on the plane ride home.
coincidentally, my cycle also ended that day. Maybe it was me after
all!
I'll have to keep track of my watch's workings and my cycle from now
on.

| Hmmm...I seem to have the opposite effect. Electronic malfunctions
oftentimes appear to "fix themselves" when I'm around them, though I
haven't paid attention to what phase of my cycle I'm in when such
things occur.
If I do discover a connection with my cycle, maybe I could co into
business and call it "Moon-Lighting." (That's an obtuse pun, sort
of.....)
guess you had to be here.

Re: impact on electronics.
I tend to think that the level of knowledge of the person regarding
electronics and how they work, and their basic attitude towards it, may
determine the kind of effect - negative feelings towards it would
generate negative impact on the equipment, and vice versa. But this is
just a theory of mine ;-)

I have damaged (*) to the pint of no return THREE hardisks during
during this month . And... My wristwatch stopped, which
is a Raymond Weil and had being serviced about a year ago. The
batteries of this watch usually last for 3-yrs.
* Now I think I am the cause of the failures. Before reading these
notes I had no possible explanation for this. I am in the process of
returning to vendor the last laptop I bought for this reason.
Even the floppy stoppend working. One moment it was alive, the
other it was dead.

| I have never been able to wear any kind of watch.
The electronic system in my car goes 'nuts'....lights come on and off.
(I have had it checked out several times for all sorts of things from
a loose wire to whole computer system....nothing is wrong)
I can, by the same token, channel energy through the electrical system.
My son has the same problem with watches.
It doesn't matter what time of the month.
