I just read in another conference that Simon Szeto has passed away.
For more information, see either the HUMAN::DIGITAL conference #1941,
or PEAR::SOAPBOX #764.
Summarizing from the DIGITAL conference, he was found by the side of
the road with his bike, where EMT's and the autopsy showed that he had
heart damage as a result of a longstanding 'silent condition' that
doesn't show up under routine tests which he apparently was not aware
of.
