The reason why I'm writing a new Topic and not replying to note 1462 is explained below. 1462 contains what I view as Positive thoughts. If one reads them and lets them sink in, they can only have benificial effects (IMO). It can be read if one is feeling down and needing a more positive outlook. I find this topic different from most of the others, as it does not concern itself with discussion on the Pro's/Con's of some arguement or another. There is no conflict, no distraction, no rat holes, no results of anyone's personal negativities. I do not advocate 'No discussion', nor conflict etc. in most notes, as one of their purposes is to provoke thought and certainly to discuss different viewpoints. But if I ever need a positive 'lift' by reading these notes, its great not to be distracted by less positive replies. I would like to express a personal appeal that the 'thoughts' be left as such. Dave PS I sincerely hope that this note does not have the opposite effects which it is intended to provide. Very often it seems that 'No action' is less damaging than even a helping hand. Hows that for a rathole!

I would never have commented on the "thoughts", had Frederick not done
so. Since he had, it seemed an apposite time to chip in.
Perhaps the mods would like to move the "negative thoughts" (shudder)
to here?

I usually let them slide, Dave...that doesn't mean I'm either
dead or numbed out, as I was feeling the results of my emotional
"Spanish Fly" yesterday and felt like responding for a change.
Perhaps it *is* best to leave them as thoughts, without discussion,
I don't know. Anyway, "dirty deeds and they're done dirt cheap!"

Well, it seems that it had the negative effect, the author so much so
wanted it not to have....I expected to see POSITIVE THOUGHTS entered
here with no rebuttal's, but instead it seems to be a continuation of
that previous topic the author was switching from....;-)
Anyway...I think the problem was that the author probably shouldn't
have even mentioned the previous topic and arguments there, clearly
certain people had more to say.
Incidently, I'm not surprised by this scenario, I've attempted to
develop a topic like this in other files, and it has never worked.
Certain folk do not respect the integrity of the topic string and
others get offended at the idea of limiting their expression. Then
again you have those plain disrupters who note randomly any way they
want just to break up any signs of uniformity and order.
I'm not speaking of any one of YOU in particular, overtly or covertly,
I'm speaking of my past experience with something like this.
