1626.1 | ...can we expand on that a little? | BTOVT::HARAMUNDANIS | | Tue Feb 25 1992 14:12 | 4 |
| ...maybe we could include Vermont and Maine here too? I mean, I'm sort
of a "misplaced flatlander" up here...and I might be able to add
something that's going on up here...just thought I'd mention it so you
don't forget me up here in Siberia!

The International Gem and Jewelry Show is this weekend at the
Royal Plaza in Marlboro (Route 20). There is a variety of
items for sale including Crystals, Rocks, Gems, Minerals,
along with jewelry and other items.
There is a $5 admission (often discount coupons are mailed
out or found in local newspapers).
Some features are:
* Large competitive gemstone jewelry market
* Wholesale and Retail sections
* Gemological instruments, jewelers tools,
supplies
* Ready made costume and better jewelry
What I find fun is to purchase a cut stone and find a
jeweler at the show that will set it/design a piece of
jewelry with you. Prices are so much better than buying
at a jewelry store.
This is a must for jewelry lovers!
Great Show!!!!! My favorite!!!!

1626.3 | All of the Northeast or Just Mass/NH | ESMAIL::ESOMS | Trusting in the Universe | Tue Feb 25 1992 14:25 | 16 |
| I wouldn't mind including Maine and Vermont in the note;
however, the New Hampshire/Mass border area has probably
the largest group of DEC employees in the country. It
isn't hard getting to Vermont or Maine, but they're not
in the area. Was trying to keep the area local. This may
or may not be the best way to go.
In my opinion, I would prefer to see a topic for 1992
Vermont Shows/Events and 1992 Maine Shows/Events. That
would cause less confusion as to the location of the
happening. It's up to you and the rest of the community.
I don't have a problem one way or another, but by all
means please include whatever it is that may be of interest
to DEJAVU noters.

The American Society of Dowsers, Inc.
JACK O'HANDLEY CHAPTER
Box 175, Pittsford, Vt. 05763
NEWLSETTER, March 1992
Meeting- 1 PM Sun. March 8, 1992 at the Unitarian Church, West Street,
Rutland VT. Herbert and June Cheesman will tell us about their
spiritual healing clinic in Barbados. They have full time jobs and
operate the clinic in their "spare time."
Spring Equinox 1992- Winter storms have cancelled some of our past
meetings. We are dowsers and can do something about this. We dowse
stormy driving conditions for the equinox on Friday, March 20, and also
for Saturday the 21st. Sunday the 22nd the driving should be OK. So--We
will meet with the Earth Energy Group for pot luck supper in Bridport
on the 22nd. At this writing details are not yet available - if
interested please call Joe Gleason at 802-758-2597, or Frank Anderson
at 802-483-6559. If you can get to an energy leycrossing on the 20th,
do so and enjoy the heightened energies of the equinox. And if you are
a meditator, meditate on the 20th wherever you are, it should be an
exceptional experience.
Summer Solstice 1991 Meeting- Held at Calendar II stone chamber site in
South Woodstock. We were joined by some Vt. NEARA members, making over
three dozen of us. Doug Birkett led us in a sunset ceremony at the
summer solstice stone platform, a moving experience we will long
remember.
Our Chapter's Earth Energy Group- continues to meet on the eight Celtic
Holidays (Equinoxes, Solstices, and "quarter-days") Joe Gleason has led
us and has an enthusiastic following. Sometimes we miss announcing
these in our NewsLetter. Give Joe or Frank a call if you need info on
any of these meetings.
Last Summer's Field Trips- plans fell through at the last minute.
Hopefully we are lining up meeting places that will not be too hard on
our budget.
Membership- Those wishing to join the Chapter should be members of ASD.
Chapter membership is $5.00. Non-members are welcome at all times.
Contributions from them help defray expenses such as this newsletter.
Yours for better dowsing,
Frank Anderson
