1557.0. "Who is Lazaris?" by YUPPY::BENNETTA () Wed Oct 02 1991 09:05

In note 1549 Lazaris is referred to several times. I have come across
this name before - could someone tell me who he/she is?

Okay, all right, already! I'm awake!! ("I'm awake, I'm
awake!" "He's alive! He's alive!" (the monster moves...)

Yes, those references almost all refer to note 316 (on
Ouija entities, I believe) and then note 358, which is the *body*
of Lazaris information in DEJAVU. I initially entered stuff
in there because I was very uncertain about my participation in
notes, "protocol" and I was overly cautious, perhaps. In any
case, I "commandeered" note 358, which doesn't even have Lazaris
in it's title. Keep in mind several things as you read (*if*
you read ;-) ) those old notes...lots of information would be
altered a bit if it were to be re-entered. Motivations change,
awarenesses change, and "reality changes." :-)

1557.5Schedule 1992PLAYER::MCGUIREFri Oct 04 1991 08:247

Does anyone have Lazaris' schedule for 1992? I am hoping to spend some
time in the States early next year and would love to gain some exposure
    to Lazaris during my stay.

    Many thanks

1557.6No new schedules yet for the "Year of Achievement"MISERY::WARD_FRMaking life a mystical adventureFri Oct 04 1991 12:4822
    re: .5 (Lesley)

There isn't a new schedule yet. Typically, this schedule gets
distributed in Nov. or even December...and usually extends only for
the subsequent six months. Also, usually (although this shouldn't
be relied on ;-) ) I will print out a schedule and enter it into
note 406, as soon as I get it. Sometimes there are title changes
and I don't always enter those, however.
You can also write to them and ask to be put on a mailing list...
as far as I am aware they *do* send listings to people outside of the
    U.S.
I recognize your node name...it's in Britain, isn't it? Anyway,
in a conversation with Mary Beth (she's the person in charge at
workshop events) a few months ago she mentioned that Jach has shown
*some* interest in traveling to England at some point. There were
no immediate plans, just an interest, and that England is the only
"foreign" country that Jach has shown an interest in going to
(to present Lazaris.) If it happens, you'll know about it, I'm
    sure.

1557.7Workshop Events?PLAYER::MCGUIREMon Oct 07 1991 05:2520
    Hi Frederick,

    Many thanks for your reply.

Who is Mary Beth and what workshop events does Mary Beth organize. The
reason I ask is that, given the time and money I would love to
participate on one of these workshop events.

    >I recognize your node name...

I'm actually British, but the node I am working from is in Brussels,
    Belgium.

If Jach is *really* interested in coming to England, I am absolutely
sure he would get a very positive reception from such organizations as
the Wrekin Trust and Findhorn and if I'm around (in England) at the
time he is very welcome to stay with me.

Thanks again Frederick for your reply.

Could you tell me a little about the two organizations Wrekin Trust and
Findhorn that you mention in .7.

1557.9Well you _did_ ask :-) :-)PLAYER::MCGUIREMon Oct 07 1991 08:0447
	Hi Adrian,

	Ahhh but of course :-).

        Findhorn :

The Findhorn Foundation is an international spiritual community
in northeast Scotland (Fours - 25 miles east of Inverness).
The Foundation is a charitable trust that provides the catalyst
	for spiritual growth.

What attracts me to the Foundation is that it is not associated
	to/with any dogma or religion.

In order to particpate on any of the course offered by the Found-
ation 'one' must first attend an 'Experience Week', which intro-
duces the participant to the way of life and spiritual principles
on which the Foundation is based.

I'm attending an Experience Week at the end of October, I'll let
you know how I get on :-).

	Wrekin Trust :

Again, very much as above, but the Wrekin Trust is based in the
glorious Malvin Hills near Gloucster. I spent one week there in
August attending a course regarding personnel growth and inner
	development.

In addition to the course (and the hills :-)) they provide such
facilities as swimming pool, sauna, reflexology, aromatheorpy
and flotation tank (glorious) :-).. etc.

The food, vegetarian, is absolutely wonderful. Please note that
I am not a vegetarian by nature.

If you require further details, eg : telephone numbers, addresses,
contacts etc. please let me know.

For me, these two organisations are the catalyst for my own personnel
development. It's all very new and exciting.

	Does this help?

P.S: Where is the node YUPPY?

    Hi Lesley,
It's nice to see a familiar "face" in this notes conference :-)

RE: the flotation tank at Wrekin

Do you know if its possible to just go along and use the tank without
doing the rest of the week? I tried it once at Flames health club
(Hammersmith) but it wasn't completely sound-proofed (I didn't have any
ear plugs). Also, I forgot to put vaseline on some cuts (I had
been "playing" with the cats :-) but it still left me feeling alert
    and invigorated.

    Cheers,
    Barry.

    re: .7 (Lesley)

Sorry for the lack of clarity on that...Mary Beth is one of
the "staff" people working for Concept:Synergy (which is the name
of the organization behind Lazaris...helping set up workshops,
distribute tapes, etc.) The staff is small, consisting of about
a dozen people, including Michaell and Peny, who are married to
each other and are the "officers" of the organization along with
Jach. In any case, writing to their address as listed in note
406 (in various notes/replies) will give you the current scheduling,
    as I indicated earlier.

Absolutely! Just give then a call and make an appointment (0684-
892898). Actually I think there's a health club in London that
also has a floatation tank, but I'm not sure of the name or location
    (not much help ahhh :-)).

    Have fun Barry!

BTW: I thought you were in Valbonne?

Thanks for your reply. Could you tell me their phone numbers - I'd like
to find out more. Please do write about how you found the Experience
    Week.

    Thanks again,

Bad news regarding the Wrekin Trust. Due to the current economy,
interest in their courses has dropped over the past two years. As a
result they have decided to stop operating in their current form.

All planned courses for 1991/1992 will still go ahead but no additional
courses will be scheduled. A number of planned courses will move
    locations.

I do have details of another establishment in London that you may be
interested in. I'll post the details tomorrow.

1557.16To be available on tape within a few weeks...MISERY::WARD_FRMaking life a mystical adventureTue Jan 21 1992 14:3626
Lazaris will be doing a workshop in Palm Beach, FL on Feb.8 and
Feb.9 (as outlined in note number 406.xxx.)
On Saturday evening, Feb. 8, he and Peny (Peny has been described
in notes 288 and 316, and mentioned elsewhere including note 358)
will be having a question/answer session. Question/answer sessions
with Lazaris are difficult to come by (telephone session or perhaps,
for a "lucky" few, during Lazaris Intensives) so this is a somewhat
    notable event for some people.
Concept:Synergy (the Lazaris organization) just sent out a
flyer announcing this event. With it, however, they announced that
they will be selecting questions in advance (this is a good and
pragmatic approach since it eliminates lots of repetition--which is
one of the reasons these events are so seldom held.) This is
    where this note comes in.
If any of you have questions you'd like to see Lazaris answer
(general or specific, but not *personal*--forget getting personal
questions answered during such an event) then either send them to
Concept:Synergy directly, or enter them here and I will copy them
and mail them. If you send them directly, add QUESTION clearly
written on the outside of the envelope...they have another address
but I forgot to bring it in to work with me. The regular address
will work, however, I'm pretty certain.
Anybody have any neat questions to ask of Lazaris?

    Frederick
