    Greetings,
    
    I am looking for information regarding Chinese horoscopes.
    
    I am especially interested in the organisation of the
    twelve (?) year calender and the significance of the
    various animals.
    
    Does anyone know of where I could obtain such information
    as I would very much like to research something a 
    drunk German told me about my birhtdate.
    
    
    Any information whatsoever would be greatly appreciated,

	Greetings, Thank you muchly for your info, this is of great help and confirms what I was told. I have become interested because I was born in 1966, the most recent Year of the Fire Horse which happens once in every 60 years. My friend told me that persons with birthdates in a particular part of the year (Aprilish) were Flying Fire-Horses. I am desperate to confirm the truth of this and the exact dates. 	Ah, Fire horses..........I'm one of those creatures too... I can't answer your question, but I can tell you something interesting I found out about fire horses..in China they are supposed to be an incredibly bad omen. The actual child itself will be strong, lucky, lots of positive attributes etc, but it is regarded as a harbinger of doom for family and friends. The abortion rate in China peaks just before the new fire horse year.. (Or so my Chinese astrology book says; I just think we're pretty damn wonderful !)
