| (personal experience, not an astrologer)
According to the generic things I have read, it should be an okay matchup.
However, I dated a Pisces for a while, and (I'm a Virgo) it didn't work
at all. Now, I am married to a Sagitarious (sp all wrong), and we are
happy, yet according to both western and eastern astrology, we should
be at each others throats constantly.

I am an Aquarius. I am in the process of becoming unmarried to
a Sagittarius. By all astrological accounts it should have been
bliss. By my account, it wasn't..... :-) ;-) .....but I wouldn't
have given up the experience.

PS. One of my closest friendships is with a Taurus. Characteristic
wise he should drive me crazy. What he does is give me a
solid perspective on things that I often miss. Sometimes the
things that we admire most in others are what we want most to
achieve ourselves.

In using astrological information to define compatibility, it's
important to remember that astrologers consider the complete chart of
each person. Thus a person whose sun-sign is Pisces, for example, will
have other planets/celestial bodies in other signs, and the composite
picture can be quite different from another person with Pisces as a
sun-sign.
If I'm not mistaken, astrologers focus on Venus-Mars relationships in a
couple's horoscope, as well as ascendant signs, since it's said that
the ascendant is the inner self, as the sun sign may manifest the outer
self. However, since I'm not a student of astrology, I have to defer to
others in this file (Carole Fretts, or Todd Dolliver immediately come
to mind) for more detailed information.

Good going Gloria! You are correct. There are so many other energy
dynamics that go on between people besides sun sign energies. In
relationships, Venus/Mars contacts are important, as well as mutual
planets in the 7th house of relationships, and Moon contacts, etc.
All planetary and house contacts are considered. Also affecting any
relationship would be the state of the individuals Venus, Mars, Moon,
planets in the 7th house, and planets in Libra, in particular.
It's important to remember that people come together for a reason
(imo). Karmic links can be driving the relationship, and even though
the charts may look like they are incompatible, there may be something
important that the people need to experience.
Re: Taurus/Aquarius....ahhhh....I'm a Taurus and I dated an Aquarian
man for awhile. We were so different that we never got bored. It
was very exciting and a lot of fun!!!!
