And If I may add, may we soon see a return of all are people who may
have to fight and die to support the cause of peace in the Middle East.

As the first real snowstorm catches us, here in New England, in its
slippery, yet beautiful grip, a half empty building allows me to start
off this Yuletide season with best wishes to all and to build upon the
splendid thoughts and positive spirits of this past note. Good wishes
to all Christians out there at this time of year from this merry pagan!
As I find the time, I'll enter these holiday missives that I found
in the bottom drawer of a merry Smith College lass's bureau! (C'mon
now, this is all in fun!)
The 12 Politically Correct Days of Christmas
....on the first day of Christmas, I sent my true love a partidge
in a pear tree....
Sir:
Returned, please find one pear tree, another example of careless
ecological devastation by an agressive possessive minded male. Had
you taked the time to responsibly transplanted the tree rather than
callously hacking it down the gift might have elicited some positive
response from me! Oramenting it with a terrified caged-grown avian
shows your insensitivity to other species and your thoughtless use of
living creatures to satisfy your passing whimsies!
The bird has been taken to the local Audobon Sanctuary where after
extensive therapy sessions it may be able to be reintroduced to the
wild.
By the way, I am not nor ever will be "your true love"! I'm sure
that your meaning of love connotes my devoting myself to you at the
expense of my own self actualization. By "true", I take it that you
expect from me total lifetime fidelity and chastisy, as if my own
sexual and spiritual desires are somehow to be repressed in favor of
your interests of possessing me bodily and forcing me to bend to your
will as if i were just another of your playthings!

Again, the generosity and comforting support of the female
staff members of the Audabon Sanctuary has helped me get over this
traumatic finding on my doorstep. The birds, though chilled and close
to a state of frantic frenzy, will recover, at least physically! Your
species insensitivity is without shame!
I'm sure that your choice of a pair of turtledoves was
heavily laced with carnal mating thoughts that you have for me! Be
assured that your primitive left brain mating attempts will not work
on this problem-solving, consensus-building, sisterhood oriented

Brute:
After sleeping late this morning after covering The Smith
College Rape Crisis center's Hotline all night, I was shocked and
devastated to find 3 French hens frozen to death on my doorstep!
With the help of several healing sisters and warmed by the herbal teas
that they prepared for me, I was emotionally able in the late
afternoon to go with my sisters to the local pet cemetary and give
these poor innocent creatures a proper burial. As we returned their
life essence to Mother Goddess Earth, we also prayed for your twisted
and selfish soul! Be assured, that this incident has been thoroughly
documented and will reported to the MSPCA! A sunset vigil for all
cruelly treated animals will be held Saturday night and can be seen
on The Smith College Women's Cable Access Channel every Sunday at 7PM.
I assume that your use of "hens" was to compare yourself to a
rooster who must possess and dominate a whole barnyard of hens!
By the way, was your use of "French" hens your mocking way of
trying to belittle my ever vigilant interest for the political and
cultural freedom of the french speaking people of Quebec in their
continuing struggle to overcome 325 years of Anglo oppression?!
