    Thanks for posting that.  Although I, too, am quite skeptical of a lot
    of what is in .0, it's nice to have another way to look at things.

Another perspective from which to view the similar writings of ancient 
cultures would be to broaden our definition of the Earth to include 
non-physical realms of existence.  Perhaps to say that something is 
"inside the Earth" is literally correct, but not physically correct.  
Our thoughts, feelings, and spirit or soul can be considered to be 
"inside" us, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they exist in the 
physical body.  It might mean that they exist and happen to express 
themselves (to some degree) through a physical body.  There is much 
available to us on the "inside" which cannot be found in our physical 
bodies, and it might be presumptuous to think that the Earth as a whole 
would be any different.

The specific descriptions within each culture could be seen to be 
literal or symbolic depending upon how we choose to view it, keeping in 
mind that those descriptions were put into human language according to 
human capacities and understandings at the time.

There are correspondences and connections between the physical forms and 
the inner realities, but they aren't one and the same.  For instance, we 
speak of love as being in and of the heart, yet love obviously doesn't 
exist within that physical organ.  Otherwise, if the body died, then 
love would also die, but it doesn't; love continues to exist.  Likewise 
with the brain.  The brain is our physical connection to the mind, but 
it isn't the mind itself.  Similarly, the planet has physical 
connections and correspondences to its inner realities.  If we start 
digging in the sand in the Gobi Desert, we are likely to find more sand, 
rather than Shamballa; but it doesn't mean than Shamballa doesn't exist.

    This note just amazes me to no end. My daughters father is from Lima
    Peru and has told me about many of the mysteries of that country. They
    believe there is another city under them and that there are tunnels
    all over especially around Marikepa and Cuzco. Its beautiful there.
    There are many upon many different stories from the people there.
    You need to talk with the people of the "ANDES" to really get the
    story.

Oh, it's no secret...  All you have to do is whisper sweet profundities 
in their ears... er, I mean nodes.  But be careful... these are sharp 
ladies, and they can tell if your faking it.  :-)

        I read a book recently written in French which title is :
    "voyage a Shamballa" = "traveling to Shamballa". This is the
    story of a man and woman who went to Shamballa and Agartha 
    but not with their physical body. They started their trip
    from a monastery in the Himalaya, but that does not mean that
    Shamballa is situated there, as for a souls, distances seems
    not to be the same and anyway, the souls they met there
    told them to tell the human not to look for Shamballa as
    it is not physical. Agartha was situated inside the Earth, but
    was not physical either.

	According to what they learnt, the souls of Shamballa are
    shinning with Love and Conscience and are working for the evolution
    of the Earth. The souls of Agartha have left the surface of the Earth 
    very long ago, and are working as well from there for the Earth.

	There is something about him in Elizabeth Clare Prophet's book,
	_The Lost Years of Jesus_.  You may also find some books about him
	and his art in the art section of any good bookstore.  His paintings
	of the Himalayas are incredible!
