    My girlfriend talked me into an appointment to have my tarot cards red
    last week. To be honest, I was more of a skeptic than a cynic about the
    whole thing because it fascinated me. Let me preface my note by
    telling you that the reader came highly recommended, and only took
    referrals (as do most good readers I presume.)
    
    I must say, the more he read for me, the more preplexed I got. I
    couldn't understand how someone, who had never met me, know things that
    only family members, or I would know. I was even looking for
    generalities to catch him up on, although they were few in number, they
    still were very relavent to my life at the time. I wrote down the
    events to save them for future reference. The friend who recommended us
    said she has been going to him for over 5 years, and his accuracy rate
    was about 90%. All of the things he told me were not positive. But most
    were.
    
    My question is: How much of your reading(s) have come true? Were they
    major instances, or small ones? Should I compare his findings with
    another reader - or will that confuse the issues too much? 
    
    I'm an Aquarian - Born Jan 25th. (I didn't tell him the time, and he
    didn't ask. But I think it's 9:12 AM) I would appreciate any comments

               I read for myself but on occations have read for others. 
    I have been reading tarot for about 18 mos. and in this time have 
    come to realize that *I* am the one creating future by how I behave
    in the present. For example: the cards may show a large gain of money.
    However, if I never buy a lotery ticket, insult rich Uncle Scrooge 
    (and he cuts me out of his will), don't sell anything..... then I do
    not gain any money. Were the cards right or wrong? The past is a record
    of my behavior in the present. The posibility for me to *make* a reading
    reflect my past is always present and posible- I try to avoid that.
    
                 For the readings I've given other people I would say that
    my "hit rate" is about 60% correct. Please understand that there isn't
    enough data (readings) to give a better sence of my accuracy.
    
                 If my cards were to be read by someone else I would accept
    what was said as advice and that *I* have the where-with-all to make 
    my future. Just as what I do (or don't do) leaves impressions on people
    I believe what I do may leave impressions on things ( a tarot deck)
    too.
