    i have been encountering this number -up and down- in most everywhere:=
    car plates, check out's, cheques, bills, lcd clocks, cash, poles,
    doors, houses, buildings, books, calendars, etc.  u_name_it!  
    
    *it's_ outhere...it's everywhere*
    
    the thing is that this has been going on for about a good 3 to 4
    months.  the last place i found it was right underneath my left shoe,
    -this morning- as i went to get my kid up, i stepped on a small piece
    of a puzzle that had broken and fallen on the floor; and there it was,
    it didn't even got crushed when i stepped on it...
    
    i'm not really sure, and as a fact i'm a bit confused about this.
    to me, it must have a meaning; but what is it?
    
    could anybody direct me?

    fairly heavy days.  My husband thinks that something (seen or unseen) 
    is going to/or has already happened today.  
    
    It must be something that has a special significance to you as well.
    Read the papers, watch the news reports, pay particular attention
    to information/occurances that may come your way today.  Don't dismiss
    anything as ordinary or coincidence or synchronicity.  See if you
    react emotionally to anything the news commentator says.

    You stated in your reply that he was not the only receiving the message
    to do with the No. 13. Can you elaborate? Who else is receiving this
    message? Now that it is over, did you or your husband find out if
    anything of major (psychic, I suppose) import happened?

    The number 13 corresponds to the Major Arcana Death card in the Tarot.

    	The number 13 also represents power and authority, if used wisely.	
    The number represents change from normal patterns.

    because:
    
    	      1. Of the crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth on a Friday.
    
    	      2. There were 13 people at the Last Supper, the beginning
    	         of the betrayal.

       i feel as if the cloud is clearing a whole lot more now.
       because of your responses i'm starting to sense the number
       and seeing it with a different perspective each time i
       meet with it.
    
       althought the aforementioned is "bloody-true", -yet i'm 
       not an expert on the issue- part of me tries hard to think
       or feel as if "bad news" every time i encounter the number.
    
       so now, what i try to do is: not-to-notice-it every time
       i'm aware that #13 is surrounding me.
    
       thank you all for your replies, and if anyone else has
       some other fact, or thought to contribute; please feel
       free to do it...   but do it soon!
