dont sound so excited Ro....
If all goes well I hope to attend... If all doesnt go well...
I will attend but be in a poor mood. ;-) Sort of a weird story,
but I will be up in the area seeing some friends!! I guess I will
get to see more than I at first thought! :-) GREAT TIMING! My wife
and I look forward to SEEING all you folks (or as many as can show).
btw... pyrotechnics are legal in your town... arn't they? I have
this stuff called C4(?) that a friend in the Army sent and the
population is a tad dense here in Joisey. Only four pounds of the
stuff... what harm could it possibly do? ;-)
Cant wait to make fun of the way you folks talk!! ;-)

Anyone out there planning on bringing any instruments (or voices)?
I'm going to bring my guitar anyway, but probably won't play if I
must go solo...
I'm not that great, but I'll try anything (musically, of course).

Can you play, "In Heaven There Is No Beer"? I think we might all be
able to sing along on this one. (;^) If Mary Mistovich is coming,
you'll have at least 2 singers to accompany you.

time to make a decision about attending.
Also thought I'd mention that there is a psychic fair being held

BEST DEJAVU PARTY I EVER WENT TO!!!!
I didn't know what to expect and was a bit worried that the wife
would feel awkward around you weird folks.. but everyone was sooo
friendly and open!
The food was great! The drinks were great! The hostess was great!
The people were Great! and the Lazarus Video was.....
The drive back was fantasticly boring and was done in about 4 hours!
The funny thing was it took a tank and a half to drive up there
and only 3/4 a tank comming back.... and after all that driving
the car seems to be running better with less noises and such!!
(bad/noisey parts most likely fell out along the way) (Wonder how
long it took Jay to figure out I took His car and left him mine?)
The conversations and activities were interesting. I could have
sat there and listened to you folks talk all night out there by
the campfire. The warmth of the flames... the toxic fumes....the
drone of biting insects. Just enough distractions to get people
to open up and say really personal things into my hidden tape recorder.
The kids and the kitten were great fun too! Tophers little one was
cute as a button.
Ro,
Thanks for opening your home to us, your really a special lady.
I dont think I would have the courage to open my home up to this
bunch!
It worked out really nice! It would seem crazy to most people to
travel 5 hours or so to go to an evening party... But all you
folks who attended really came through and made it worth the trip.
Jay,
Thanks for opening your home to the wife an I. I know it wasnt
really that easy putting up with us... but thanks to you and Penny
for your kindness, patience, and hospitality. You made us really
feel welcome and at ease. (Just to let you know... the wife doesn't
remember anything except the last part of the Exorcism I think she
will be all right.)
P.S. What did you do with the body and blood soaked
clothing?
Thanks all! I hope to be able to do this again sometime in the future,
and I encourage all to try to make it to the next one whenever or
wherever it is. You all seem to be a bunch of great folks who want
to make themselves and their world a better place.... when a group
of you get together, how can you possibly not have a rewarding and
magickal experiance?
Take care,
Craig and Dianna

I'm glad you followed my directions so well. The folks you stayed
with will be ok after a short hospital stay. They won't be needing
their car so you can keep that one. Good thing I listened to my
instincts and didn't give you the real directions. This is truelly
a lesson in listening to that small voice inside.
Jay
Oh yeah, a cupla questions: How'd you get their dog up there?? And
where did you learn to tie knots like that? It took the authorities a
long time to free those poor people.

I really liked the place we stayed... and guess it's better
that it was the home of a non-decie since I wouldn't want folks

1069.29 | a longwinded expression of gratitude | ATSE::FLAHERTY | Evolving, not revolving | Mon Jun 26 1989 16:15 | 116 |
| I'm so glad you all enjoyed the party. My intent was to provide a
warm, relaxed, 'safe' environment where everyone could feel
comfortable and 'included' (i.e., kind of like a 'community' aka Scott
Peck -- sort of, huh, Cindy?). It seems to have worked!!! 8-)
Now it is my turn to thank all those who helped make it a success
(this will also give a recap for those of you who couldn't be there
this time):
First of all, Pat Hardy, for her generous contribution of gifts that
were given away (and some that were donated to the raffle). They went
quick Pat and were most appreciated...everyone seemed to 'get' what was
meant for them. We didn't give away your Fantasy Showcase Tarot card deck
because Topher felt it may be more valuable than you realized (as a
collector's item).
Secondly, Craig and Dianna, thanks for driving all the way from NJ to get
there. There was a unifying energy in your presence that contributed
greatly to the 'sense' of camaraderie (plus you're just so cute and
huggable). And thanks too Craigly for doing a tarot card reading for
my friend, Dick. He enjoyed it.
And speaking of tarot readings, thank you Topher also for doing that
exceptional reading for Sue. Gosh, it was a long one. Next time,
I'll request you do mine too!!! We enjoyed Paula; she's adorable.
She did such a good job in drawing the raffle numbers; you may have
the next 'Vanna White' on your hands!!! ;')
Special thanks to Larry for the raffle donation of your 'meteor'
poster. A number of folks admired your photographic skills. Many,
many thanks for serving as our barbeque chef. You did a fantastic
job despite my 'too hot' grill.
Thanks to Bruce as well for taking over the duties when you were
finally 'burnt out'. His 'hot' dip was a killer too!!!
Jay, much appreciated your volunteering to be the official
'fundraiser' -- you did a terrific job at collecting, yet making it
'painless and fun' at the same time. I enjoyed meeting Penny and
loved her handrolled beeswax candles. Thank her again for the ones
she brought for me. We were especially pleased that you brought the
authors Tricia & Reilly of the Game of Endless Possibilities as
guests - neat!!
And Carole, thanks for 'being' there. Your presence always elicits a
feeling of serenity and kinship whenever we meet.
Gloria, I was happy you were able to make it despite your other
commitments. Sorry we didn't get a chance to talk about Dubrovnik
(next time for sure).
My pal Meredith - thanks for showing the Lazaris vidoes (it was almost
as good as having Frederick with us)!! It was a chance for a lot of
folks to be 'exposed' to Laz for the first time. He seemed to be a
hit as there was 'standing room only' in the family room when he was
on! Thanks for bringing Janice and Dave, who were instant celebrities
as another example of success in the 'Singles notesfile' by their
upcoming marriage next week.
Joanne - thanks for all your help and also for encouraging Zeffel
(formerly Iiisa) and her friends, Kara and Kara's husband, to attend.
Their stimulating conversations (not sure if everyone realized that
they were the subjects of the controversial 'walk-in' note) and
kindness in doing 'realignments' for those of us brave enough to try
it. I did and it was a unique experience that I'm still trying to
fully comprehend. My teenage son, (who was the first to volunteer) is
still talking about it (and like Craigly, fascinated by the sounds and
vibrations of the exercise) and would like to make an appointment to
visit Kara in Boston. He's interested in the energy pyramid. He was
very much 'in tune' with these special guests as they were with him
(they recommended a certain physics book for him to read). He was
amazed at how on target they were in their analysis when 'toning/
tuning' him. He also valued their sincerity. It was a pleasure
meeting them.
Thanks to one of our favorite 'read-onlys', Dan McL, for providing the
hamburgers and also for being another adventurous soul to be 'toned/
tuned'.
It was great meeting some of you for the first time - Gina who
traveled the distance from the Rhode Island border and Rosyln who was
just a bundle of 'energy' (loved your stories and cookies!!!).
Darryl, with his healing energy that filled the room, and for bringing
the two Sues!!!
Thanks too, to my non-Dejavu friends who attended. They kept an open-
mind and fully enjoyed and participated in the events of the evening.
Thanks also to those who were only present in spirit like Frederick,
Steve Kallis, Jr., Jeff, Alan, Mary and Dave, and others (thanks Mikie
Morgan for the Windfire Magazines...they were snatched up quickly).
Guy, we were so sorry that your plans changed at the last minute and
you were unable to come. Many expressed disappointment in not getting
a chance to meet you and hopes that you'll be there next time.
Elizabeth was ever-present in our hearts and a card was signed and
will be mailed to her in Colorado along with some special crystals
from Kara and also Jay.
Last but not least, thanks to Cindy for her help with the raffle, for
entertaining us with her slides and 'souvenirs' of Australia, but
mostly for her warmth and ability to communicate in a way that makes
people feel at ease.
I did manage to take some pictures that I hope to somehow circulate
(and may generate some income for me in the blackmail department!) ;')
If I've omitted anyone's name here, forgive me as I'm at home feeling
under-the-weather. Trying to recuperate from the whole event!!! Or
as my 11 year old daughter exclaimed as she returned home yesterday
and surveyed the mallei 'Wow, must have been some party, Mom!!!"
Love and light to all,
Ro

I'd like to thank you for a WONDERFUL time! It was great meeting
everyone. The food was great. We got to see Cindy's slides, meet
Zeffel and Carah, see a Lazaris tape and talk and gab, etc., etc.,
etc. I can't believe Craig and Diana came all the way from NJ to
go to a party! YAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!
For those of you who missed the party, ya missed a fun time. And
for those of you who are usually read-only and feel that you _wouldn't
fit in_, FORGET IT! This was a get together of warm, friendly people
who happen to like to write, read, and for some of us, just read most of
the time about a common subject...DEJA VU (things that go bump in
the night 8^D ). So next time give it a whirl, you might just
meet some real neat people!
Again, thanks Ro!!

great to meet such a friendly group of people and I know I speak for

nervous of how well it would go without music, but there was the gentle
murmur of voices chatting all evening. The weather was exceptionally
kind to us too.
