I don't know for sure, bit I think a nasty self image is at the
    heart of the matter.

Maybe your dreams are telling you to get naked before people, clothed
or unclothed. I do. It's liberating.

| | I've read that this is one of the two most common dreams.
I know I've had it on numerous occassions. (The other most common
dream is on having the ability to fly.)

Supposedly both have to do with a feeling of inferiority. The
"nakedness" represents vulnerability, while effortless flight provides
    a sense of overcoming inferiority.

I don't know if I agree with these interpretations.

    HI,

I've had dreams like that, but,I am usually partly clothed, but, still
very obviously out of place.I recall I feel ambarrassed and think
to myself "I hope no one sees me like this",and I start looking
for places to hide,or,get clothes on.It may be related to my fear
of having attention on myself, especially with a group of people.

    Peace
    Michael

My dream activity has increased over the past week or so.. or perhaps
my sleep pattern has just been altered to disrupt my sleep at critical
times allowing for me to remember my dreams more often... anyway..

I have been having a similar dream for years and years... I show
up in the morning for work... and just as I am about to walk through
the fron door... I look down to see I forgot to put my pants on...
Now I am wonder to myself... Should I go home and get my pants and
then come back? or should I go in and tell the people I have to go
home cause I forgot my pants, but that I will be back asap? Or should
I just not worry about it and have a normal day.

I always figured it had something to do with me getting so busy
with stuff that I forgot to cover myself... and the shock of finding
out... then wondering if it was really a problem or not.

| | I share in the experience of having these kinds of dreams
and as I read these replies I was wondering if there is any connection
between what Craig was saying and our personnas. Though the
term "personna" hasn't been defined in here yet, we could call
it the face or part of ourselves that we "wear" for others to see.
We do this so that others won't see who we "really are." Why?
Because of our own particular insecurity (lack of self-worth,
or self-esteem or self-confidence, e.g.) we are afraid that others
will not accept us as we are so we create a personna to keep out
the vulnerability and to present ourselves as we think we "should"
be. Perhaps the dreams show ourselves without our clothes (or
personnas) and show us what happens to us when the "real us" is
visible (and if my dreams are any indication, nothing happens...
i.e., no one ever seems shocked or offended, almost everyone always
seems to accept the state of undress. Could it be that everyone
could accept me without my personna?)

| | When Adam & Eve was in the Garden Edan, they had disobeyed God
and had taken the fruit of the tree of knowledge. When they heard
God coming, they ran and hid themselves of shame, because they were
naked. In the day and time we're living in now; friends, loved ones,
and fellow employees ETC. will accept you as you are, and don't
really care of how much you expose yourselves: because we're living
in the "80's" (as they say). But, we all should take heed to how
we are living our lives. We're exposing too much of ourselves, and
have no kind of self conviction about it: but, one day, we are going
to have to stand before a Holy and righteous God, and we have to
give an account for everything we do here on earth. I'm not preaching
to anyone, I'm just giving my opinion of what her dream is saying.
But, PLEASE!! EVERYONE THAT READS THIS NOTE, TAKE HEED to how you
are living; we're exposing too much of our unrightousness!

I'm sorry is this question seems stupid but, what exactly do you

I don't know but I guess he is saying that we should hide all
the things "bad" about us on the inside where we cant see them
and they cant hurt us? Or maybe we should just try to not focus
on the darkness of sin but on the light of God.... and pray we
go to heaven before the fears of our darkness overcome us and
corrupt our moral fiber? he...he...he... ;-)

There is some merit in remembering that if we keep our minds
very open there is a chance our brains will fall out and one
shouldn't summon his or her personal demons in a crowded room.
BUT.... we don't solve problems by locking them away and saying
they don't exist. The attitude of putting dark things in the
closet with other dark things only works for so long...
It's sort of like putting off doing your taxes..btw when are
	they due?
Whats wrong with my body? OK, I admit it isn't the best looking
thing... ;-) but I like it... and the wife isn't complaining...
and what is wrong with me inside... I like that too! It isn't as
good looking as the outside... (icky looking fluids and weird colors
ect..)But I believe I have a right to be myself and exercise all
the factors that make up me. If you don't like what you see thats
fine, thats your right . But if I want to open myself up honestly
to whoever will take me.... thats my risk, my trust and my love.

Now...(trying to put a supernatural bent on this or something to
keep it within the conference.) How could nudity in dreams or
sex in dreams, or openness about psychic stuff be negative?
haven't they been lurking in the closet long enough? Will they
ever be able to come out of the closet to be discussed?
How can discussion of same effect us negatively?
	Why Cloths=good Nudity=bad???

	thanks!
	Craig

What does wearing inks or dyes from the Republic of China have
to do with it? Does wearing cloths not make you a communist?
Does wearing dye from another country cause one to faulter in
in ones journey for religious truth? And what paranormal activity
can be related to wearing no cloths or wearing dyes made in
Taiwan??? Greatful Dead concerts??? Led Zep music??? Ozzy???
Teenage suicide????? Paranoid behavior??? Satanism???? Drugs???

| | Yes, wearing tie dye does make for rightousness .. Oh Rainbow Warrior_:-)
And (as Joseph Campbell said) The Grateful Dead is a true religious
experience in the old sense of the word. Where we open up and become
as one with Gaia and the universe, ... together in love.

Its no coincidence that Mickey Hart of the Grateful Dead performed
at Joseph Campbell's funeral. Its no coincidence that The Grateful
Dead Enterprises is one of the very few places today that one can
buy the Tantric Buddhist monks of Tibet's tapes of their religious
ceremonies and chants believed to generate waves of creative energy
and bring blessings, peace and harmony to the spectator.

As another follower of The Dead, I too am deeply aware of their religious
    significance.

| |
    Hmm..
Im starting to think that you can just get a bunch of people
together for a single event and have a religious experiance. I know
I have gone to several concerts and religious events and semi-riots
and their is a strange presence that seems to enter the area. When
I went to church it was called one thing... when I got into independent
study it was called several things, depending on what you were doing.

It is sort of interesting but Nudity... in my opinion, increases
the sensation almost immediately. Perhaps giving power to the being/
spirit of communal nature. Or perhaps making us lay down physical barriers
we have in manifesting/creating such an experiance.

So you may have a deeply religious experiance of communal love
at a Greatful Dead concert. I may have one at an Iron Maiden concert,
and someone else may have one in a budist temple, or church, or
coven.(or anything in between, less I forget someone.) But I am
    obviously getting side-tracked...

I guess we could all agree that all those experiances would
increase greatly in their religious/spiritual context if all attending were
nude. Or that the atmosphere containing the "communal being" would
be greatly increased/energised. But then again I could be wrong on
that one. ;-) My research isn't conclusive yet 8-)
