No advice since I haven't any personal experiences to draw upon
(hang on, I'm sure there'll be plenty) but I recall seeing
a movie some time ago called _The Cold Room_. It dealt with
paranormal experiences in a room that was always cold similar to
the one you describe. I think it resulted from some events occuring
in the room many years before (Nazi stuff).

| Re .0:
Interestingly, the presence of a classical ghost is often accompanied
by feeling a chill. It's possible that some of the kinetic (thermal)
energy of a room is diverted to maintain a psychic pattern of some
sort.
This would not necessarily violate thermodynamic considerations,
since we don't know what the energy sink on the other side of the
interface might be.

| I've experienced this or something like this more than a few times.
My best guess in my case is that I projected that something into
time and space. Of course there may have been times that some real
external entity was present but I kinda' doubt it.

| This is similar to an a common experience in my old abode where
there were cold spots. I initially thought that they were drafts
but could never find a source. I'd hold candles up to windows,
feel under doors etc. but never find any air coming in. There was
always that accompanying feeling as you noted of being "watched"
My place happened to be haunted and we were treated to a variety
of other antics which I detailed in a note way back (can't find
it) I consulted with a self proclaimed "ghost hunter" and he explained
these cold spots to be originating as .1 explained...or was that
.2 ?

| I assume you're interested in what one would do in such a situation.
0. Lots of sunlight by day would help, I think.
1. Don't be reluctant to ask for help, if you feel this is too much
for you. Just because you're not sure you believe in this stuff doesn't
mean it doesn't (or does) exist. As for me, I'd trust my feelings more
than my mind in this kind of thing.
2. If you don't already know how, start learning to center yourself. I
have found the Lord's Prayer, the 23rd Psalm and St. Francis's prayer
helpful, when repeated as mantras. The St. Francis prayer, speaking as
it does in terms of transmutation of hatred into love, sorrow into joy
and so on, is particularly useful to me. As you become centered, you
could address this feeling or entity directly, asking its needs. If
it's within your godly power to meet those needs, then so be it.
3. Bless this feeling or entity on its way. It's looking for succor
in the wrong place for it's and your ultimate welfare.
4. Affirm your right to live in peace with your surroundings.
Love, Joy and Peace,
Donald Reinke

| Are the walls insulated? I have a friend who bought a home in the
summer and found out that fall that *none* of the walls had been
insulated when the (summer)home was built. Maybe the room was added
on at some point and not insulated. You dident mention that it was
cold even in the summer which would certainly eliminate the question
about insulation.
