| Why the "buns of Navarone"? Are they large or are
the germans after them?

"Are they large or are the germans after them?"
Actually I think the Brits were after those Buns, and wanted to
do HORRIBLE things to them!! But I think they had the assistance
of a big Greek, and a young American....Similar in plot to
"Where Eagles Care" but without any girls. ;-)

988.8 | Just having some bun...;-) | WRO8A::WARDFR | Going HOME--as an Adventurer | Tue Feb 21 1989 11:40 | 15 |
| re: .7
You mean sort of like Attila the Bun? Or maybe on a pilgrimage
to the old west they had an inspiration and called it "How the West
was Bun." Or maybe as a last measure of despair the had "Bun for
the Road." Or maybe they wanted to start a rock group and call
it "Bun Jovi". Or they could sing lyrics such as "Bun, bun, bun
til her daddy took her T-bird away." Of course, all of these stray
a bit from the real issue since they all offer only severed buns,
ie., only one bun as opposed to two. Is one bun enough or are
two important? So the Buns of Navarrone could be the name of
an Italian Bakery or it could refer to an assorted collection
of pathological rear members.
