*MY* advice would be to, have the house blessed by an anointed
preacher of God. If your friend is a Christ follower, he shouldn't
have to worry, "knowing" who his redeemer is: Recommend to your
friend that, he should stay prayed and fasted up; along with that,
he should study the inspired word of God and don't worry about
what the enemy can do... He (The enemy) has no power!!

The power of the enemy of Christ can be used against those who
walk in ignorance of him. Knowledge of the spiritual realm and its
principles and operations should be known if one is the target of
such attacks. One must have spiritual eyes and ears and a discerning
heart to walk through the traps and snares the enemy lays.
Find a man, in whom the Spirit of Christ is. Find one who is
filled with the Wisdom of Spiritual Knowledge. Find a man who is
given the Authority of God. Then allow your faith to rise up as
the man operates militarily in the Spirit as a Commander to speak
the Word, that the enemy might be defeated and the ground be gained
for Jesus Christ.

| Re .2 (Lorenzo), .3 (Brother Bob):
Hi!
Although there's nothing wrong with the advice given, first and
foremost, it might be important to see whether Gil's friend's new
home isn't contaminated on the physical rather than the spiritual
plane. It's quite possible that some other agency than a supernatural
one is at work here. For instance: perhaps the house was insulated
(or reinsulated) using polyfoam -- the outgassing of formaldehyde
could cause health problems -- possibly worse for the family that
moved in, if they have a sensitivity to that solvent. Possibly
there's a superfluity of another gas. Hypothetically, it's conceivable
that before the former owner left, he or she "fumigated" the house
with a double- or quadruple-dose of insect poison, just to harass
the new owners (since the former owner apparently had a grudge against
folk of the Christian faith). This is why I titled my base note
"if not of natural causes" -- to cover the possibility of a medical,
as opposed to a spiritual, problem.
If it _is_ a spiritual problem, some knowledge of what the family
might be facing may be of help in getting rid of it.

Dear Brother Steve,
I did not take the sicknesses into account when I presented
the former information. I took it as fact that the former tenant
practised witchcraft of somekind and gave the words according to
that fact. Whenever one moves into a new dwelling it is wise to
spiritually search out the premises and exorcise any evil entity
which may be inhabiting such a dry place.
This particular circumstance appeared to need a more Authoritative
Individual, one given the awareness and faith to operate in such
a circumstance.
Natural causes should be no excuse for Spiritual awareness and
deeper perception.

958.6 | INSULATION WAS THE CULPRIT | FSHQA1::DROGER | | Mon Jan 23 1989 12:16 | 11 |
| I tend to agree with Steve Kallis. A relative of mine lived in
Athol, MA. A family moved into a house near her. They were
healthy people and found after living there for awhile, their health
drastically became worst. Apparently, they found that the insulation
in the house was the culprit. They eventually had to move out.
This was over 5 years ago...so I'm not sure what happened to this
family or whether the house has been reinsulated.

| hi,
I'm afraid that I don't have a lot of info, having never been to
my friend's abode. The information I have is second-hand for the
most part. This is what I have been told by those who have seen
the circle:
It is a wide circle made up of very large rough stones,
no markings of any sort were mentioned.
Upon entering into the circle without knowing the background
of the house, or even particularly noticing the circle, a man from
our church immediately sensed strong evil there. Having then seen
the circle he said, "This thing has got to go !!"
The man, who was quite healthy, didn't need dialysis
until after moving in. The previous owner showed no signs of any
similiar sickness so I doubt that it's something in the environment
but it could be.
A couple of car loads of us will be going up to the house to break
up the circle on Saturday, all the while using the gifts of the
Holy Spirit for spiritual warfare. This is with the owners approval,
of course.
The reason that I entered this note here was to try and get some
advice on things to look for/watch out for from the many here who
have studied such things.

Are you just referencing _men_, or are you including women in this
masculine pronoun above?
If you are just refering to _men_, then please state why.

re: .8
Cindy,
I said, " a man ". I was not referencing _men_.
I am a man, therefore I said " a man". If I were a woman perhaps
I would not have said anything, or I would say "a women". I do not
consider it necessary to reference to a women for I have no guilt
nor obsession with the promotion or belittlement of women. There
are many others who do so already and they need no help from me.

Whoa, time out. I think you misunderstood me. Please be patient
while I try to clarify, since your response to .8 was not clear.
Would a woman suffice in the circumstance you outlined, or is it
only appropriate for a _man_, in your opinion/belief structure?

Re .10
Cindy,
I have met woman who have the anointing of Christ and who I
sensed are in the Spirit of Christ. I have met women who were involved
in similar circumstances who functioned in the operation and reaped
the success of victory in Christ. They did not usurp authority but
simply functioned, humbly, within that which Christ had given them.
I did not misunderstand you. I made my response in .8 unclear
for a reason. True Words are the key to the treasure of the heart.

958.12 | What's the house made of? | NEXUS::ENTLER | the Wizard | Wed Mar 08 1989 14:47 | 25 |
| RE: Curse on House!!
May I ask what type of construction material is the house made
of? How old is it? Do you have any knowledge of any previous
illnesses that anyone who may have lived in the house before may
have had?
The reason I ask these questions is that some materials tend
to hold viruses, bacteria, etc. I remeber reading about a house
in Ohio that a family had lived in. I don't recall all the details
now, but someone had died of luekemia. Public records indicated
that the next two families that took up residence there, also developed
luekemia. Yet neither had any family history of such illnesses.
Some way or other they found out the contruction of the house
which was primarly made of cendar block, (not cement block), had
something to do with it. They concluded that the cendar block somehow
contained bacteria that somehow brought about the illness. They
did eventually tear the house down.
Just a thought!

| Well, its been 2 months. Must've been a lot of stones. I certainly
hope by now samples of air, water, and construction materials are
in a lab being tested, cause if the "excorcism" doesn't do the trick...
I wonder what his doctor thinks is the cause.
What about others living there (if any)?
