Why are the real issues of our time excluded from the political dialog?

The major problems of our time are all interconnected and interdependent
facets of one single crisis, which is essentially a crisis of perception.
This crisis is part of a cultural shift from a mechanistic world view to
a holistic and ecological view, from a value system based on domination
to one based on partnership. This lecture will explore the reasons why
such a shift of concepts and values, which is crucial for building a
sustainable future, is not part of the current political dialogue.
