The following information is taken from today's Boston Globe,
for those of you who may be interested:
NATIVE AMERICAN EXHIBIT OPENING
The six-week festival of Native American craft and culture opens this
afternoon (Sunday Nov.13) in the Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center,
41 Second St. The exhibit includes pieces by Cherokee, Wampanoag
and Micmac nations. Ten of the artists will be on hand for the opening.
There will also be a display of historic photos of Native Americans of
Massachusetts and demonstrations of Indian dance and music. The
invocation will be delivered by Cjegkitoonuppa (Slow Turtle), supreme
medicine man of the Wampanoag Nation.
Hours: (nov.13) 1-5 PM. Free.
