| I don't know where it originated, but my understanding is that
it refers to "the seventh son of a seventh son" and usually means
that this person is blessed with luck.
RE: .0 Are you only a seventh son? or was your father also
the seventh son in his family?

Guess that rules me out ! Dad was the 1st son. Still interested
if anyone knows more about the origin of this folklore. I've
looked in library and came up empty. Is it on the same level as
dropping a fork and expecting company?
