I recently acquired the first issue of Fireheart, a journal
of magick and spiritual transformation, which began publication
this spring.
Published by the Earthspirit community (an extended network of
Pagans) in the Boston area, the edition includes the following:
* An interview with Jim Alan (co-founder of the Circle network).
* From Roots to Dreams -- Pagan Festivals and the Quest for
Community (by Andras Corban Arthen, founder of the Rites of
Spring)
* The Wickerman -- A Ritual of Transformation.
* Sweat Lodge -- A Native American Way.
* Pagan Rites of Passage -- Handfasting.
There are also book reviews and more.
The issue sells for $3.00 and I got mine at Arsenic and Old Lace
in Cambridge.
The magazine will initially be published twice a year. The next
edition is scheduled for November and its theme is (what else?!)
"Death and Transformation." Articles are expected on re-creation
of shaminic techniques for modern Craft, Thelemic magic (?), the
Eleusinian Mysteries, and death and dying in the Celtic traditions.

And...
"Green Egg" is back and roaring...
It's titled _Green Egg: The Next Generation_ and is published by the
Church of All Worlds. (They're back too!)
It's $2.50 on the newstand and $10 for a subscription.
It is published on Beltane, Lugnasad, Samhain and Brigid.
"Green Egg is the official journal of the Church of All Worlds, a
Neo-Pagan Earth Religion dedicated to the celebration of Life, the
maximal actualization of human potiential, and the realization of
ultimate individual freedom and personal responsibility in harmonious

This issue recovers some area where it left off years ago. In it is an
explaniation and chronology of the Gaea (American form of Gaia)
Hypothesis, "Theagenesis: The Birth of the Goddess", A short article by
Merlin Stone, an interview with M.Z.B., some nice art, other short
articles, Mermaid busting in New Ireland Province of Papua, New Guinea
and articles supporting Earth First's Earth Warriors, (ala Monkey
Wrench Gang fame).
As usual, I am not associated with these people in any way (other than
