There are also references to Dick Sutphen.
Obviously, it isn't possible for us to "know" whether or not
a past life has been "remembered." And even if we did, others would
not be likely to accept it. What this means is that it appears
to be a very personal and intimate thing. That doesn't mean that
it cannot be shared, just that others' input or expression should
not necessarily be taken to heart. While I personally have not
done a professionally induced past life regression, I know others
who have and have reported "remembering" many interesting things.
I *have* had an experience of a "past life" (and just one month
ago) but not via past life regression, as such. I believe that
the experience can possibly be useful; I don't think that too much
weight should be placed on it, however. The only danger in it that
I can see would be to place so much value on it that sight of the
present lifetime is lost; i.e., for example, a determination that
a massive karmic event will predispose someone to a manifest destiny
which cannot be changed, is not a helpful attitude as far as I am
concerned.

| I agree with Frederick. Being regressed is an often interesting
experience but it should not be an end in itself. Hopefully what
you get will be of some use to you in your present condition.
Regardless of whether or not you believe in reincarnation, you still
have to live one life at a time.

I have performed a couple of past-life regressions. The story is
in 597.2.
I don't really know what to make of it though. I agree with Topher
that anything involving hypnosis is not too solid. I'm not sure
if it's past-lives or subconscious ramblings which may or may not
be significant to the subject. Very interesting at any rate.
Hope this helps.

FWIT (I can't remember the book - I'll add a reply later), but
a psychologist writes about her research into regression and
came up with some pretty interesting results using a not to
traditional approach. She regressed 2000 people and asked
the same questions, mostly around gender, dress, class/status,
food - demographic kinds of things. The people in her sample
were all taken to specific time periods (if they didn't seem
to have a life during that time they weren't included in her
sample). Anyway, she analyzed the results and compared it to
known demographics for those time periods and places. It
showed a very high correlation.

| I was deeply involved in regression some years ago (I was the regressor
rather than the regresse). I was only able to "bring the person
back" (as in back to a past life) three times in 20 some attempts.
One thing that I have wondered: was the person seeing a past life
that he or she actually had lived, or was the person's conciousness
transported back in time where this conciousness percieves someone
else who lived back then and interperets it as his or her own past
life. I find one as probable as the other.

I was wondering...
What's the best way to go about finding a "regressor", so to speak?
I am very interested in reincarnation/past life regression and believe
quite strongly (in my gut, so to speak) that they exist. I'm just
not sure how to go about finding someone to help me investigate.
Thanks for all suggestions.
