| I suppose that whomever wrote this would rather pick a belief system that makes
him/her feel bad??
Any belief system can be taken to its most comfortable extent, or to its worst
extent, and those who would not have you have your own belief system, will try
and find ways to pick at it. But, with what do they want to substitute it?
Think about it!

I think it was tongue-in-cheek, too, but this morning (before my real hour of
waking up, which is noon) my humor mode was set=low. Somebody, somewhere,
probably really does think that way.
on the lighter side, here's something George Carlin said...
"The guy we think is God...is just the Western Marketing Manager! God? He's
too busy throwing fireballs around the firmament!" {assume attitude of God
talking} "Earth? Oh yeah, Earth. What day is it; Sunday? My one day off, and
they're all gathering in church...(mumblemumblemumble)...Day off, my a**!!"

| (It is not anchovies but and incredible simulation)
>reply .2,.11 Steve I loved your replies,they really made
me laugh.
>reply .3 Do not worry Cindy ;^)
I must admit I was a little angry when I started writing the
base note, but I was laughing by the end of it.I do not want to
disappoint the skeptics, but I know from personal experience that
at least some types of psychic phenomena are real.
Many of the people I have known who have psychic ability,
some of whom are the most beautiful people, have a good deal of
flexibility of mind,if someone says I found that wearing a
hat to bed increases prophetic dreams, they give it a try.I
think of them and some of the noters here as explorers.Instead
of sailing on ships to new lands they are exploring other new
frontiers and coming back with incredible stories. Many have
little concern with proving anything. The real benefit from
the explorers is that they find things that the factual, test it
people do not find, because they would never look where they are
certain nothing exists.
After the explorers find something that does not fit into the
model that the factual, test it people have made,of how everything
works. The factual ,test it people get upset. They worked hard on
their model and their is a group of people that sleep with hats
on trying to tell them it is wrong.Eventually the factual types
check it out, figure it out,and update their model of how everything
works. They then tell the explorers how it really is.But by this time
the explorers are off exploring some place else.
Now regarding the base note.I am blesses or cursed as the case
may be with having a good portion of both explorer and factual,
test it tendencies.I at times get frustrated with those exploring
for what appears to my factual, test it side as a disregard for
evidence and proof.Hence the base note.At other times I become
very frustrated by the factual test it people and what appears
to my explorer side as an unwillingness to really check into
what the explorers are saying because the model they have worked
so hard on says it can not be so.I hope this helps clarify things.
Sincerely ~~/~~ George D. he he he

Why didn't you say that in the first place??? :-)...
We all need a bit of test-it attitude or else nobody would be
able to understand us. It's grounds us enough to help figure
out the why's of what seems to be going on in our 'world'.
The orignal note (no matter the intent) was funny ;-).
