Re: .1
Hi Frederick,
Just wanted to share my perspective on the type of communication
that the gentleman in question is providing. From your description,
he is working with "evidential" mediumship. This is the process
in which persons in the spirit realms can communicate to loved ones,
friends, etc. who are on the earth plane. Every single one of us
has already been and will be again on the astral plane, and have
been and will be what you call "astral level entities". I have
witnessed some of the most profound communications through this
type of mediumship, with the beginning of major healing taking
place because of it. And as a personal note, I can be very
profound at times, and plan to still be when I move on to the
next plane of existence :-).

Hi Ravi,
Here's a copy of a note reply I entered awhile back that explains
a little bit more about planes of existence. Hope this helps.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There are a couple of references in this note to the 4th dimension
or astral plane. I just want to pass along one of many possible
structures to the planes that we exist on. The one I have been
taught is as follows:
1 - physical (+ etheric)
2 - astral (emotional)
3 - lower causal (mental)
4 - higher causal (mental)
5 - spiritual (buddhic)
6 - monadic (christ)
7 - divine
When our physical body dies, we then experience in our astral bodies
on the astral plane. This experience can last for different lengths
of time. Some spirits can get stuck on this plane and never move
on, however they do not reincarnate from this plane. A "normal"
process would be to spend some time in the astral plane and continue
the process that we were working on here. At a certain point, we
experience death of the astral body and then are in the mental body.
We also experience the death of this body and return to our higher
mental body which can be considered our higher self. As long as
we need to reincarnate and have physical experience, we use the
causal body to recreate the three "lower" level bodies for each
incarnation. While we are in physical form, there is a part of
us that exists on all these
When we are in communication with spirits, they are usually on the
astral plane. It is important to have some guidance and discipline
when opening ourselves up to this plane because we create a "light" on
the astral plane that spirits are attracted to.
There are also those spirits that dwell on the "higher" planes,
and these are usually our guides or teachers, or "guardian angels".
Some have been with us for many lifetimes, others may be with us
only a short time, depending on our needs.
It's quite a fascinating area of study, and one of which we will
always have something to learn about.

| RE: -.1
Carole, the problem I have with the levels as they are
described by you (as you have been taught them) is that it is
somehow too limiting. How, do you ask? Well, one needs to consider
infinity, here. If we are to believe in a constantly changing and
growing God/Goddess/All-That-Is, putting seven barriers on that
energy is way too confining. I do not believe I can give you a
real solid answer (can anyone?) or a definitive choice that is
far more solid, but I can say that the views from the best source
I have ever heard make far more sense.
Let me add that I perhaps held some very unsophisticated
views of "levels" of reality for the first thirty years of my
life. I "believed" in heaven after death (and hell) and that
there was us, that, and God. Pretty naive, I will admit.
I like the concept of infinite levels of reality. It is
a great way of accounting for various "what if" situations.
Anyway, let me re-enter, in very basic fashion, what I have
learned from my-always-mentioned-Lazaris-friend:
He has stated that the lower world (as he calls it, though
he makes it clear that there is no higher or lower) is comprised
of 4 levels. The first is the Physical. Next is the Astral.
Following are the Causal and then the Mental. Beyond this is the
5th level, the sixth, 7, 8, on onwards to infinity. What separates
each level? The physical has 5 tools that the others don't have:
past, future, time, space, ego. Additionally, it is the densest
reality. It also has some emotions that the others don't have
(such as hurt.) The astral level has only a concept of time and
space, past and future. I am not certain what he says about the
ego at that level. Basically, though, the astral is a mirror of
the physical. Which is why I said that astral level beings aren't
usually very profound...i.e., I prefer beings that are somewhat
more evolved. This does not in any way mean that there is no value
here, any more or less than on this level. The causal plane is
where causes and effects are linked up. I am very unclear as to
what "life" is "like" on this plane, other than it is much more
peaceful and loving. My impression is that this is not a plane
on which we linger. It is a plane that is used as a "stopover."
Sorry, but though I have "been there" in meditations and can
describe it to you, I know very little else about it. The mental
plane is the plane that is called "heaven" by our religions. Anger
is virtually (if not completely) gone at this level. It is so
euphoric here that beings tend to stay there "longer" than is
necessary because it is unclear from that place that anything
can be better.
I once asked what life is like on the Causal plane (at a
question/answer session with Peny and Lazaris.) I do not wish
to go into more details here around this question, but the basic
answer (influenced by Peny's "interference") was that I (and the
rest of us, presumably) didn't need to concern myself with other
levels of reality. The game here is to take dominion of the
physical plane. We cannot leave the physical plane until that has
been accomplished. Leaving this body carries us into the astral
plane unless we go beyond (as Jesus, Buddha and others have done.)
Lazaris has strongly encouraged us to go as far beyond as we can.
He says that some among us reach as far as the fifth, sixth and
even the seventh levels in meditations. The "purpose" for us to
become the most self-loving that we can be is to "springboard"
us past all those other levels. As physical energy, we have more
"power" to do this. It is not as easy for entities which have
never been physical to pass through levels of reality. Which is
one of the reasons we "choose" to be physical in the first place.
As I stated many months ago within this conference, I will be
disappointed in myself if I find myself on the astral plane upon
my death (for any length of "time.") I have already been on the
astral plane after all my other lifetimes, I go there already in
my dreams...I do not wish to do another lifetime after this one.
I do not feel that the astral level is any particular improvement
over this one. I want to go further than that. I am reasonably
certain that I have not attained enough "development" yet to do
this. I intend to continue to work towards it, however. Anyway,
though I am vague, it is because this is all I have been taught
and I have been unable to figure out anything more or better on
my own. I still believe that even though this explanation has many
holes in it, it is not as limiting as the established explanations
of seven levels (or whatever number that others have used.)
I feel that the only thing that matters for those of us who believe
in a positive outcome after death is that we establish a goal...
and then work towards it. Whether it's heaven or the eighth plane,
it clearly involves more development than most of us have at present.
And though it sets me up for potential problems upon my death should
I find myself wallowing around on the astral plane, it doesn't seem
like the kind of goal I have in mind. I feel that most of the
"trend-setters" I envision will have moved beyond the astral plane.
I am willing to be "wrong" about my views here, however.

| After reading Anderson's book I contacted him, and last month my wife
and I met with him at a session for bereaved parents.
There is no doubt in my mind that George talked with several people
from our lives who have passed on, in particular our son who died a
year before at the age of 11. George told us physical and emotional
characteristics that were absolutely true about Ben (our son), as well
as lots of specifics about our lives and Ben's.
For someone who is not 'into' these matters, it was incredible. We went
back to our hotel room and grappled with what this means to us. We have
been Christians for years, thought we believed in a life after this,
and when presented with evidence we were still shocked.
Interestingly, the spirits with whom we had contact each asked us to
continue praying for them.
