Sounds to me like you are associating their deaths with the partying.
Which may be true depending upon how much "partying" you did. Sounds
also like your guilty because you did the same things and it didn't
happen to you. I think your one of us lucky ones. I too lost friends
due to suicide. All the friends that I lost, I lost through alcohol
and drugs. I did it and I live to tell. I think you subconciously
realized this and layed your friends to rest after perhaps years
of inner guilt (?)
Maybe???Maybe not.

Just say "Here is an answer for you whom I can't see" and then
give the answer. Actually, though this is a bit tongue-in-cheek,
it is basically what one "does." You do not provide enough information
on which to reply. You can't see me, and you can answer me. You
can't see your great-great-great grandfather and giving him an answer
could be different that giving an answer to your spirit guide or
counselor, e.g. See what I mean? How can anyone respond to your
question about "rightness" or "wrongness" without more information?
This (DEJAVU) is a good place to ask in your search, however.

I think .4 is in reference to the missing base note.

The base note was deleted either by the author or by the moderator. No
one can see .0 now, it's not just you. As one who did see it, I'll tell
