Would you please enlighten us as to the purpose of your entries?
They don't seem to be making much sense (I missed the one that was
set hidden).

Anyone in particular or are we all guilty? If so, please point
me in the direction of such an entry that I made and I'll be glad
to revise it by saying that I know less 1/2 of 1% of nothing.

>>And you guys call youself intelligent. Just keep playing around.
You've written a very incoherent note. If you are making a joke (as you
have stated) then you should welcome jovial replies.
If you have something to say and you are cloaking it in the form of a joke,
it would be more easily interpreted and discussed by all of us if you would
just come out and say whatever it is you are trying to tell us.

the mouse understands brother owl and brother hawk.
mouse knows that because of them and others he must
continually analize every second! and that every
shadow may hold his death!
But yet...the mouse lives free of caution, care, and
worry.
mouse holds the knowledge of terror yet does not let
command him.
mouse says "Owl will only be fed by my nurishment when
his eyes are open and his mind is clear on the subject
at hand...until that time comes he shall fly forever
hungry and in endless circles."
REMEMBER: IF MICKEY DOES NOT FEED PLUTO...WHO WILL!!!
i remain,

the mouse he sits upon the ground,
just gaining in contentment,
the owl he spins above the earth,
his fear shows as resentment,
"Beware the Night" the creatures cry,
"this note it has no meaning",
say all within the outside world,
who don't use eyes for seeing,
the owl his head spins round and round,
the mouse laughs with delight,
for curtains that the owl has bought,
gives shade from crimson light,
upon the demons that we raise,
we bind them for our uses,
and waist the time we have ourselves,
and keep for fun... abuses!
the note that is set-hidden,
is deep within your mind,
it's deep within the soul of you,
and it you'll never find,
for mouse now is the preditor,
and owl now is the prey,
for mouse you see is rabbid,
and likes to live this way!
Hail Oh, Hail Oh, ERIS!

and ruler of the minds of you,

oh demons in the Darkness,

so now i pose the question friends,
are we Day or Night?

They are smiley faces on their side. The most common one is :-)
The colon is the eyes, the minus is the nose, and the parenthesis
is the smile.
About the only non-face icon I know is ~/~ which means "stirring
up trouble". I finally figured out that the slash is a stirring
rod, and the tildes are indicators of stirring motions.

I always wondered what ~/~ meant but figured the author
was straight ahead (as opposed to a sideways smiley) and
scrunching his eyes, the / being his nose. Thanks!

You _can't_ read a hidden note unless:
1. you were the person that set that note HIDDEN
or
2. you are one of the moderators.
RE: the missing base note (and a few recent others) - see note 696.25
for the explanation. Due to the base note being deleted, I've set
this note /NOWRITE.
