| Re .0 (Kim):
Well, the "sixth sense" isn't. That is, we're told we have five
senses -- tactile, visual, olfactory, taste, aural -- and we really
have more than that. We all have a sense of balance, for one.
We have a kinesthetic sense (that sense that lets us know our body
positions. Demonstration: close your eyes and touch your nose.
Your kinesthetic sense made that possible). We can sense heat or
its absence (cold) without touching anything. So if you call the
"sixth sense" a sense, you may already be in error. [Some people
seem to be able to sense proximity of objects, possibly through
a form of electrical capacitance.] Pain is a sense, by the way.
What's usually called "the sixth sense" is some form of paranormal
operant. It might be that which helps a dowser dowse, or it might
be a vague form of precognition ("Don't take that scheduled flight!").
Whatever, it's a sloppy term that covers so much it's hard to pin
down.

| I started being able to develop my psychic abilities when I got beneath all the
things I thought I *should* say, or *should* be doing; when I stopped worrying
about how the other person was going to take what I said when I was visioning
psychically, and started to listen to that first response in my head, the one
that got covered up with what the many other aspects of my mind thought; the
one that went off so quickly that it had been missed by me, for all of my life,
until I was 21. Hope that helps somebody.

| RIGHT! There is an "inner" voice than you can trust. Call it instinct
or whatever.
Were you ever driving down the highway and something told you to
slow down? 9 times out of 10 there is a cop near by.
1. Listen to the inner voice or your instict. Trust it. That's hard
to do only becuase people tend to rationalize what they feel.
2. Meditate. I don't mean stand on your head whispering "oohhhhmmmmm"
but get to a place where it's quiet and empty your mind. Think
of nothing. That's also very hard to do. As humans our brain is
not use to thinking nothing (although I do know some people that
are prefessionals at thinking noting all day.)

| It would appear to be at least a little somewhat a "natural" talent.
My sister has dreams that come true. They are usually warning dreams.
The first time it happened several years ago, she called and told
me about it after it came true. So I was somewhat sceptical about
it. The next time she had a disturbing dream she called me imediatly
to tell me about it. And I told her not to worry, I probably wasn't
anything. And sure enough it happened.
My sister was not someone who was interested in the "six sense",
So I found it more likely that this was a natural gift, since it's
something that she wouldn't have practiced.
It actually kind of scares her. Now every time she remembers a
dream, she thinks that it's going to come true.
