WindFire Circle in Colorado Springs is going to make an introductory video to Wicca and Paganism. We think it should be in the hour to hour and a half range. We would like your input and suggestions on how to make the video: o What would you like to include in such a video? o What would you like to see excluded from such a video? o How would you like to see applicable issues presented? o Are there any books we can use to help make an amateur video? o I would appreciate hearing from any of you who have done such in the past. Please mail me your suggestions and I'll summarize to the conference. Any other comments on making such a video can be placed in this topic. B*B

well, Mikie?, I've made some observations in RELIGION. Beyond that,
a few thoughts:
1) Don't make it too long. That can be deadly. Even an hour TV
show has commercial breaks.
2) See if you can find someone with production experience to help
you. Someone who understands such things as appropriate cutting,
directional continuity, lighting, etc. Prepare to shoot more than
you need so it can be edited tightly.
3) Don't rush the job. Rather do it right the first time.
4) Try not to cover too much.
