It seems like one by-product of past-life regression (assuming that this is a valid phenomenon) might be to help shed some light on how the first humans evolved (assuming that evolution is a valid theory--i know, that's TWO big assumptions in one sentence!:-)). Has anyone experienced or heard about past-life regression cases where the memories involved came from a time when there was no "civilization" and humans (or proto-humans) were basically living an animal existence in the forest? If so, what can these memories reveal about the lives of the first humans, and especially about the types of social structures that existed prior to the advent of civilization? Were these early humans much like the various modern "primitive" tribes studies by anthropologists, or did they have a unique set of social structures and conventions more akin to those of other non-human primates in the wild? I've read some accounts of people who regressed to memories of lives in VERY ancient civilizations, such as Egypt and China, and even Atlantis and Lemuria. Are there any cases of regression to a time BEFORE civilization? -- paul c.

This is a very good question. I have not heard of people actually
regressing to an animal life or life other than human but, if this
did occur would we recognize it? I understand that during
regression one believes to be reliving the situation they are
remembering, if one was regressed to a form other than human how
would it be communicated through a human instrument? Would there
be much disorientation etc.
Am I off the beam here?
Also I am a firm believer in not forcing things and that you will
learn things and be shown things when the time is right, if we have
advanced (if advancing it is) to the point of being human would
there be any need to recall lives prior to being human if that is
what we are here to deal with?
Also, off the subject but interesting, what about life on other
planets? Is it possible to have past lives on planets other than earth?
I know of a psychic who has dealt with many hauntings, through
channelling these spirits have told him they are from others planets
and somehow become misplaced. I don't know about this but it is
interesting.
