       Just goes to show how people's tastes are different.
    Yet even so, with all the varieties, there are still plenty
    of "takers."
       What this means to me is that if you're baked "just right,"

    The first time you asked me this question Deb, I think I said I wanted
    to be some kind of chocolate swirl marble cake.  Now I think I want

    On the gooey bits - that only happens if the cake makes it *into*
    the oven to begin with!
    
    As youngsters, my friend (nextdoor neighbor and partner in crime) 
    Lori and I used to mix up cake batter, frosting and even Tollhouse 
    cookie dough and eat it straight!  (Must confess, I still do it
    too - especially with cookie dough.)

    how about a Sara Lee Butter Streusel Coffee Cake.....just out of
    the oven with all the luscious icing just barely restraining
    itself from running down the sides....

    or a black forest cake - full of rich dark fudge mixed with cherries
    and surrounded by the deepest darkest frosting you can imagine....

    Well, I'm Italian and I think that an Italian Cassata (sponge cake
    with rum and italian vanilla and chocolate creams) is really
    scrumptious!!!!!!   Any other ethnic favorites?

    Going all the way back to Cindy's reply (cannot remember the number).
    Remember the Tupperware days?  There were some cookie cutters in
    the listing.  With them came a recipe for cookies (very American)
    lots of sugar and those I would eat without them ever reaching the
    oven.  Just thinking of them makes me want to go out and buy a couple
    of Mrs Fields Coconut Macadamian cookies NOW!!!!
    
    And yes, I am guilty of eating the whole chocolate fudge mixture
    before it ever reaches the oven.
    
    I have been off for the past couple of days with some headachy virus
    - thanks John M - cause your reply had me laughing so much, I feel
    100% better already.
    
    Don't want to be a wet blanket, but some of those recipes sound

    Well, I was going to change mine too (based on the holiday
    season) and say I wanted to be a bourbon ball, but then I
    had second thoughts, knowing how you folks in DEJAVU are
    and what kind of smart aleck remarks I'd get on THAT idea!

    I'm still trying to lose all my holiday weight; this is no fair
    that it took me so long to get here....but...
    
    I would be a brownie-rich, fudge-moist chocolate cake with ooey
    gooey cherries cooked in to the middle and, instead of frosting
    on such a rich flavor, I'd have Baskin Robbins Fudge Brownie ice
    cream, covered with luscious whipped cream and fresh cherries. I'd
    be served up while the cake is still warm, so that the ice cream
    would melt in to me a little bit, making me even more moist.
    
    I'm getting dizzy just *thinking* about it.
