| I know just what you mean! Sometimes I want something so much,
that I 'make' it happen and then when it does I think "uhoh,
now what?" On a related note, I think sometimes we get things
(events) that we DON'T want because we need them in our lives.
My basic view is that everything happens for a reason, even though
the reason may not be immediately clear to me (hindsite and all
that).

Is your method for achieving these results something you can/would
share, or would you rather keep it private.

| I am in the process of learning about the universal law of prosperity.
I visualize it to be like the following example. I've vacationed
to Dinasaur National Monument which contains a beautiful campground
by the confluence of the Green and the Yampa rivers. At this
confluence there is an incredibly high wall that will immediately
echo many times what you say. The univerisal law of prosperity
is just this...whatever you put out to the universe, you'll receive
10 fold. If you give love, you'll get much love in return.
This also pertains to getting what you want. If you want more time,
give time. If you want more money, give money and it will be returned
to you many times over.
We ARE powerful and in charge of our lives - this can be seen by
our results. Life sure is exciting!

I wish I knew! If I knew exactly how these manifestations
were taking place I would gladly share this knowledge with
everyone, but at this point (for me) it's just a matter of
asking/talking to my spiritual guides and then not letting
my physical self get involved. In other words, believing
that when (and if) the time is right the situation will
manifest, and not letting my physical self try to force it
to happen.
The physical self (Ego) is a tough beast to manage. It
has a loud voice that sometimes tries to overpower the
softer, yet stronger, voice of the Soul. I believe that
my Soul/Higher Self knows best, and I am disciplining my
Ego to accept that.

| Regarding your note on "getting what you ask for"... I would like
to also include that it is very important what you put out into
the world in thought form. I have worked very hard on being positive
regarding something I thought I wanted, and then followed it up
with the "act" ... but if my thought/belief was not there, it was
futile. Then there are the days when my thoughts were, shall we
say, a "bit" on the negative side (who me?)...doggone if what I
was thinking wouldn't manifest itself! I believe that is what
happens to some do-gooders, they may not be think-gooders; therefore,
like a giant magnet, they attract negativity to themselves or they
have the ability to block good things to themselves.
I am still working on being careful what I ask for; and for me it
means to be VERY SPECIFIC.
I would like to share some words of wisdom:
Watch your thoughts;
they become your words.
Watch your words;
they become your actions.
Watch you actions;
they become your habits.
Watch your habits;
they become your character.
Watch your character;
for it becomes your destiny.
I would love to give credit to the author, but I don't remember
where this comes from. Possibly a bit of wisdom from a Celestial
Tea Box.

Hi Carla,
I really liked what you said but wanted to suggest that maybe it is
not so much the physical self as the mind that is the culprit. When
you say Ego I think (please correct) you are speaking of the mind,
that part that wants and wants and...
When I think of the physical self, I think body. That part of me that
is mechanical; walking, breathing etc.
For me, the mind is "a tough beast to manage." Give it an idea and
will go to never, never land with it. It really does not have a
direction of its own, it really just goes and does.
It is the discipline of the mind by Soul that facilitates the process
of unfoldment to who we really are and what is our Spiritual nature.
For me, trusting in myself (and my Guide) has been an important tool to my
unfoldment. I've learned to trust those inner nudges, as messages
from Soul to the conscious mind so that they can be manifest.
Sometimes it is hard and confusing. For me, confusion is a good sign.
It is an indication that I am working on something on an Inner level
and that it is being worked on. Much like dreaming and waking up the
next day with a solution.
This is where the trust *really* pays off.
