513.0. "Quietly reading in Maine" by MTBLUE::DUCHARME_GEO () Fri Oct 02 1987 15:07

I really enjoy this notes file.I admire the people who have
taken a risk and entered what I would consider, very personal
experiences, that could open them up to ridicule.

Are there any others who quietly read this from there closets?

I read this "from the closets". I have entered one or two notes,
    but mainly I am a reader-only.

    For now ......
But once I actively start participating, you guys will wish you
    could shut me up!

Hi, I'm also a "closet reader" - first time I've ever written in
    a Notesfile - although I've been reading a few months. I'm
especially interested in the Astrology portion - Marcia having
done my chart. Going through some tough times, but looking
forward to better things ahead. I plan on going to the Halloween
party and meet the many interesting writers I've been reading.

Hi. I am mainly a reader, reading DEJAVU on a daily basis. I have
made a few entries, but the majority of my participation is in the
reading end. I find DEJAVU to be extremely enlightening and enjoy
    it tremendously.

Until I started reading DEJAVU, I had always thought that the whole
range of ESP/paranormal experiences were reserved for very few.
I was AMAZED at the number of people who seem to have experiences
    on a rather regular basis.

I was also impressed with the knowledge level and intelligence of
    the participents.

Here is another one in the closet. I too, am
impressed with the knowledge of the writers,
which is why I feel to uninformed to make
an entry. I do enjoy reading because the
topics discussed have always interested and
    fasinated me. I am learning........

I have been contacted directly by several people who are "just
    readers".

Let me encourage all the "just readers" to enter notes into topic
16 telling us a bit about themselves. Its nice to know who we
    are talking to.

Any not-just-a-readers out their who have not posted to the who-are-you
topic -- it would also be nice to put something there.

> -< Just-readers. >-

I am another "participant". I have entered a few responses in the RAIL
notes file. But this and a couple of other conferences are read only at
this point in time.

I do enjoy "listening" to some of the conversations and people who actively
take part in these conferences. Just keep in mind that there are "spirits"
like myself looking over your shoulders. Learning about crystals, the Ojuia
board, channeling and many other aspects of the paraphsycological.

In the spirit of this conference, let us keep in touch.
(Subtle pun deliberate.)

I'm generally read-only, tho' I *did* introduce myself (I feel like
    I'm eavesdropping if I don't :-) )

I've said a couple of things, but I'm way out of my league here
so far as knowledge in these areas is concerned. I enjoy reading
and learning from this group - a friendly bunch of intelligent,
    knowlegable folk.

I am also basically a read-only participant, although I occasionally
enter notes. I enjoy this conference more than any other because
it is interesting and gives me something to think about.

Are the leaves through with their autmnal display yet in Maine?
Here in Michigan the colors are peaking; a sensory overload of beauty
    just about everywhere you go...

The peak here in Augusta was about two weeks ago. The coast of Maine is just
going beyond peak season now.The colors certainly were beautiful.

OK I'll 'fess up to ' Quietly reading in Connecticut'

I found this conference via a cross posting to ASKENET concerning
the significance of AUG 14-15. I've been a daily reader since then.
I wonder how many others found this conference the same way??

And since it's only fair.. I'll go introduce myself..

    Hi there,

Like 1-13 I am just a reader. This notes file has rekindled
an area of thought and research that has been dorment for about
12 years. I now do a lot of thinking about many of the subjects
that are discussed in these notes.

For me, Tarrot has become a new interest.

    Keep up the good words.

    Sue
