    Lazaris will speak at an international symposium in Sun Valley called
    Dreaming the New Dream: Choices for a Positive Future.  The workshop
    is presented by Planetwork, and will be held from Oct. 30- Nov.1
    at the Sun Valley Lodge.  To register call (208) 726-4016 between
    10 a.m.-2 p.m. Mountain Time.  Reservations can be made only for
    the entire symposium, and during it Lazaris will speak several times
    and channel Jach Pursel will also be speaking with other workshop

        I just looked up your name in the DEC phone directory...your
    first name is really Peace?  Wow!
        I hope you enjoy your tapes as much as I enjoy mine...I either
    have most or have attended the lectures and there is none I dislike
    although I do have some favorites.  Perhaps you will share either
    the tapes or the experiences with others and allow for some first-hand
    information for them.  As for copying tapes, etc., I have had some
    confrontational exchanges with Concept:Synergy in the past in that
    regard and I reached my own understanding there...suffice it to
    say that they consider it proprietary (much in the same way that
    DEC considers it's stuff proprietary.)  Lazaris also tends to
    discourage groups because too much ego can intrude (e.g. "we're
    meeting at MY house and *I* have the tapes and *I* am a v.i.p.,
    etc.")  There are ways around that, however.  You could also call
    them and ask them for advice in that regard, if you are so inclined.
        Anyway, it would be of some interest to me, at least, to hear
    about your impressions, etc.  
    (Incidentally...Most of the lecture tapes are incomplete because
    the lectures/seminars have been from 3-3 1/2 hours and the tapes
    [2 usually] are only 90 minutes long each...old lectures may not
    have a meditation on them...anything from the past 4 years has 
    a meditation since that occurs after the mid-session break.  If
    you ordered a RED LABEL series tape...or a special 60 minute
    tape on TRUST, ANGER or HURT, e.g., there is no audience and the
    tape(s) should be complete.)

        Today I found out that there is a definite commitment for Lazaris
    to do a one-day seminar in Philadelphia in early 1988.
      
        Also, Lazaris has apparently produced a book (I don't know whether
    it was dictated or how it was done) that will be available the first
    of November.  It is supposed to cost approximately $10 and will
    be available in book stores as well as through Concept:Synergy.

         What does the future really hold?  Is "the end" still coming
    this year, or is it next?  Is "the end" coming at all?  Many claim

        Well, at yesterday's workshop Concept:Synergy announced that
    they would be going to BOSTON in 1988!  Since so many of you are
    in that area, I know that quite a few of you are interested.  I
    strongly encourage you, if you are interested, to go to at least
    one of his seminars.  They are really a great deal of fun (for me,
    at least.)  They also announced that they would be going to Denver,
    Seattle, Chicago, Philadelphia, Atlanta and Tampa.  The new schedule
    hasn't been released as of yet.
        Also, the Sunday workshops in San Francisco are being replaced
    with Thursday night workshops [something I personally don't like
    at all.]  AND, every other month or so, Lazaris will be conducting
    something called INTENSIVES, which will be four days long, each
    (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.)
        Lazaris stated that though there were more and more of us, that
    he was actually making himself more and more available to us rather
    than less and less (for those of us like myself who have been "around"
    for a "long time.")

        Also available now are 1988 calendars.  If you haven't already
    seen them, you would probably enjoy them anyway.  They consist of
    12 different paintings by Gilbert Williams (the artist whose

    "Out on a Limb" movie...[early in the movie, when she was with
    Bella Abzug,]) along with a short quotation by Lazaris (similar
    to the quotes I added to some of the notes in 358...in fact, some
    of those quotes came from the 1987 calendar.)  I believe the calendar
    costs $10.00 and is a unique and pretty item to look at.  Any

        It was commented on by Jach that this coming weekend's 
    symposium at Sun Valley has gained a great deal of momentum
    in the past few weeks and it is going to be covered by CNN,
    TIME and PEOPLE, among others.  He added some additional comments
    but I have forgotten what.  So, perhaps if you keep a few eyes
    and ears open, you may become aware of whatever it is that will
    have transpired.  [I know no more than what I have written about
    this.]

        For those on the lookout for Lazaris' book...it has been
    delayed at the printers.  I was told this morning that it will
    be released on Thursday, the 10th of December.  
      
        The first four-day workshop will be held in L.A. the 
    11-14th of Febrauary, 1988.  The cost of this "Intensive"
    is $600.

    	I have read some Lazaris material, watched him on video tape,
    	and listened to a couple audio tapes.  I enjoy what he has to
    	say and how he says it and feel very good about him.  Through 
    	a video tape he has led me into one of the most powerful and
    	beneficial meditations I've ever experienced.
        
    	In one of his interviews Lazaris says that people should not
    	spend money on things like past-life regression, and that they
    	should spend their money more wisely.  I have a problem with 
    	this when he charges what seems *to me* like a very high price 
    	to see him.
    
    	DISCLAIMER:  I am not being sarcastic here.  I really would 
    	like to know *how* (why?) he can perpetrate such a seemingly
    	confusing contradiction.
    
    	(But then again, I'm easily confused...)

       That would bother me too.  Without actually looking at the text,
    I can't comment too much.  It's possible that that statement is
    taken somehow out of context.  I could guess, however, as to a possible
    explanation.  Somewhere in the volume of material I have entered
    these past several months I entered a quote by Lazaris that speaks
    of past lives as being somewhat like sunburn...i.e., that they only
    influence the pain of a slap on the back.  There are many people
    who fall onto the karma bandwagon acting as though karma is "all"
    that life is about.  Lazaris suggests that if that were the case,
    there would really be nothing new in our realities and that we would
    have to regress to our "original" lifetime in order to clean up
    all the karmic influences.  (This isn't all he says, but its all
    I *remember* at the moment.)  The point he tries to make is that
    THIS is the most important lifetime we have (because this is where
    our present point of power is) and that we can easily change the
    effect of our "past" lives.
        Well, all that aside, the further point is that past life
    regression, et al, is a concentration on the past instead of a
    focus on the future/present.  He has similarly talked about 
    psychiatry/psychoanalysis because so often the therapist will spend
    so much of a client's time/money in dwelling over a past problem
    (in *this* lifetime.)  If you think about it, you will *never*
    be able to go back to every problem you have ever had...doing so
    would never allow for a new problem or a new reality, etc.
    Whereas in truth, we all know whether or not we have a "problem"
    with guilt or jealousy or anger or rage or hurt or greed or
    self-pity or righteousness or on and on and on.  To resolve those
    issues one could go to the initial contact and work to release
    it from there OR (in fact this is the main point) one *could*
    simply release the blockage *now*.  
        In telling *me* about my past lifetimes, it served several
    purposes (not everyone who talks to Lazaris goes into their
    past lives...my girlfriend has talked with him more than a dozen
    times and plans to never have a "lifetime reading" because she 
    feels it won't really serve her) one of them giving me a way
    to deal directly with blockbuster emotions I carry.  By pointing
    out the lifetime in which I initially encountered this emotion,
    I can meditatively tap into that lifetime and "rid" myself of the
    emotion.  (I do not choose to elaborate on my personal aspects.)
    Another thing it has done is satisfied some of the skepticness
    I have (yes, I do or have had.)
         Anyway, once again, I think that there is an inappropriateness
    of context here, but I think the "answer" would lie in an area around
    that which I have speculated.  The truth is we don't need past life
    analysis in order to deal with this one.  The further truth is that
    Lazaris spends a great deal of his communication with us in the
    present and is very effective in that arena, so perhaps the
    contradiction is not as great as you might feel.
        
          I am happy for you that you have discovered for yourself some-
    thing that I obviously feel is worthwhile, too.  Lazaris can be
    quite a shortcut to the "homes" towards which we are heading.
    Obviously he isn't the only way, in my opinion he is just one of
    the best ways to learn.

    	going to be rather tedious and a waste of your money.  You
    	could use it better to do something else indeed, so it's up
    	to your own preference."

         Such a skeptic as you must speak from experience in order
    to validate your position, so, for this reason, I would assume that
    you've had a great deal of experience moving your planchette all
    by yourself.  You can therefore forgive Carla and Cindy if they
    choose to allow you your own personal experiences, right?

    This is terrible......I can't go on.....
    

         Last Sunday, during a workshop attended by about 800 people,
    Jach expanded somewhat on a story that had been mentioned sometime
    earlier this year.  It seems that there is a group of "forgotten"
    Vietnam vets who live in or near Seattle away from civilization.
    They are society "dropouts" who live somewhere in the wilderness,
    apparently.  Anyway, they infrequently make excursions into "town"
    and when they do, they attempt to avoid contact with "society."
    There is a bookstore up there that rents Lazaris video tapes.  One
    of these vets rented one tape nearly a year ago and, after a while,
    several members of his group started taking turns (since they have
    a disdain for going into "town") going to the bookstore and renting
    tapes.  It seems that they get together and have showings of 
    Lazaris videos wherever it is that they live.  The word has come
    from them that Lazaris has offered them the only bright spot that
    they are willing to acknowledge (in life.)  They also have spread
    the word among other similar "outcast" groups that are apparently
    sprinkled throughout the country.
         Peny and Lazaris have apparently discussed it, and, prior to
    the next Lazaris workshop in Seattle in 1988 (date not yet available)
    they will be meeting (gratis) with this group of about 25 individuals.
    Needless to say, they are completely blown away with the love and
    compassion that Lazaris is extending to them by meeting with them.
    
         Jach said (tongue-in-cheek) that it same as news to him
    (when he came out of trance...and that "thanks a lot", Lazaris,
    for volunteering his body to trek through the woods.  Anyway,
    among the laughter, he was strongly applauded for this particular
    action.  
      
    While a full schedule has not yet been made available, herewith

         During the break at last Thursday night's workshop in S.F.
    I asked Jach when he was going to Boston.  He said that the plan
    is to go to Boston next October to do "an evening with Lazaris"
    there as part of a week-long incorporating Atlanta, Philadelphia
    and Detroit.  I don't think the exact date has been set (and Jach
    didn't mention it to me.)  Anyway, some of you who I know are 
    interested can perhaps use this information as a start for your
    plans.

         You're welcome.  It's funny how, as was pointed out in another
    note I just read tonight, we differ in our views of the same things.
    While I *intellectually* understand the importance/significance
    of meditation and while I have had some of the most powerful emotional
    experiences of my life via Lazaris' meditations, the meditations
    are usually difficult for me to do (usually because of an obnoxious
    predisposition of mine to go to sleep or to wander in my mind.)
    Anyway, I have not yet done those meditations...I wonder how long
    I'll wait (rhetorical question.)
          As for weekends, etc., I suggest looking at the schedule I
    printed to get an idea.  Boston is not on his schedule for either
    a day-long or 2-day at this time.  Philadelphia is, however.  (I
    understand that you poeple in New England consider such travel to
    be too far...in California it was extremely common, in the days
    when Lazaris' workshops were ONLY held in Marin County, to have
    an audience that was about one-fourth from Los Angeles, many of
    whom drove the 500 or so miles.  So, how motivated are you?)

        I am not sure of the cost in other parts of the country.  In
    L.A. and S.F. an evening workshop (about 4 hours) costs $40
    if paid in advance or $45 at the door.  There are many people who
    opt for the tapes instead of going in person.  An advantage of the
    tapes is that they cost less ($25 for an evening workshop--audio
    only) and they can obviously be listened to over and over.  A 
    disadvantage is that the tapes are sometimes "short" and miss 
    some of the last material covered.  Another, perhaps more important
    to many, is that in person it is easier to feel the energy in the
    room.  Additionally, Lazaris does what he calls "blendings" in person
    which he does NOT do on tape.  Yet another reason, for me, at least,
    is that it is "fun" for me.  I really enjoy going to the workshops.
    I live less than 200 miles from Tahoe and in 14 years I have never
    been.  That is not my idea of fun.  Going to a Lazaris workshop,
    however, is.

       Last Thursday night I attended a great workshop from which
    I entered the notes I took into note 358(.99.)  This weekend past
    I spent two of the best workshop days I have ever experienced. 
    What I have been experiencing with him in person, especially when
    it is a 2-day or longer, is not only what an incredible thing
    it is to see and listen (especially with the humor he has, which
    is VERY CLEARLY LACKING from my notes) but to actually experience
    and FEEL what it is he talks about.  You see, it is one thing to
    intellectualize, quite another to put it into practice, especially
    when talking metaphysically about emotions and reality creation.
    I managed to accomplish something *I* have never done prior...actually,
    I did several things I never did before...specifically here it was
    to "stay with" all the meditations that were done.  Usually, in
    the past, I drift off either to sleep or some other path for at
    least one meditation.  So, this time I felt proud of myself for
    "doing all of them."  It WAS GREAT!  
         This time, in keeping with "tradition," Lazaris did some new
    things.  This time he led us on a very, very powerful meditation
    into our UNconscious minds, to experience a past lifetime.  I do
    not wish to dilute my experience by sharing it or by perhaps 
    influencing someone else's future experience, so I will leave it
    as this:  I succeeded at something I had never done before--I
    had an actual "remembrance" or whatever you wish to call it.  All
    I know for certain is that I didn't consciously make it up.  Anyway,
    I felt really, really happy with that success. 
         I honestly believe that most people would have difficulty with
    NOT being impressed with what Lazaris does, especially when viewed
    over several days.  The volume of information that spews out and
    that is always organized and so perfectly timed, etc. is extraordinary.
    When one sees it in person and sees the closed eyes and the lack
    of props, etc., I believe it takes on even more significance.  Anyway,
    this I pass on to you, the relatively uninitiated.  Ones sense of
    being loved is hard to miss, too, based on not only my experiences
    but on the experiences of others.  I really feel like I have missed
    so often in truly relating what Lazaris is like, to you, the
    DEJAVUers of DEC.  Listening to a tape is good; being there is person
    is GREAT.  
         I also made many "corrections" in my course, this weekend,
    and many more will follow as a result of my experiences of Saturday
    and Sunday.  This gist of all that I say is that I found
    this, as usual, incredibly worthwhile and I highly recommend the
    experience (at least once) to anyone who is even remotely interested.
    I met a woman (an engineer who has her own firm in Atlanta) who
    has only been "involved" for less than three months and who has
    already attended several workshops.  If the desire is there, anything
    is possible.
         
          Speaking of Atlanta, Lazaris will be doing a daylong on April
    9.  Also a 2-day (April 9-10) [I guess the day-long is 1/2 of the
    2-day.]  Also an evening on April 10 (8-10 p.m.) which is a 
    question/answer session.  Costs are $165, $275, and $25, respectively.
    All together costs $300.
          THe Tampa and Miami workshops are entitled "I DESERVE"
     
          Lazaris is working on a new book to be titled "The Journey
    Home" and according to the fliers has one out that is a compilation
    of interviews.  I did not see it.  Also, according to Gerald (a
    long-time staff person) he is working on a spiral-bound book that
    will like a workbook, with separate sections on e.g. anger, joy,
    meditations, etc. so that easy reference can be made.
      
          Lastly, in this note, I was told that though the figures at
    present are confidential, the book "The Sacred Journey: You and
    Your Higher Self" is being reported as the best selling metaphysical
    book ever, by many, many bookstores throughout the country.  Keep
    in mind (as far as I am concerned) that books, though metaphsically
    oriented, may be in separate categories (e.g. the Bible-religion,
    Shirley Maclaine--autobiography, etc.)  I was also told that there
    will eventually be some sort of public acknowledgement of its
    best-seller status (by the consensus reality.)

        Last night I attended a workshop entitled "The Ultimate
    Relationship" and at its start we were told that Concept:Synergy
    is moving to Palm Beach, Florida, within the next month or so.
    We were informed that the galleries would remain in California
    along with virtually the same (usual) number of workshops here.
    I do not know if they will be opening up any more (East Coast)
    galleries or not.  Obviously (I think,) there will probably be
    a greater number of East Coast activities.  The reason for the
    move was stated as a move for more room (probably greater privacy)
    since they have apparently purchased a beach-front home.  Anyway,

I'm thinking about going to the Atlanta one-nighter.  I read his book,
_The Sacred Journey_ and found it pretty good (despite the occasional
marketing hype).  If I go, I'll post a review.

    re:  East Coast "pilgrims"
    
          The two-day in Philadelphia (along with the evening the night
    before) should give you a pretty good dose.  It will also give you
    an opportunity to receive a crystal from Lazaris (and therefore
    you can "physically" meet---he says that though usually he is not
    "in" the body, during those moments he puts more energy into the
    body and can in fact affect people within a dozen feet or so by
    his physical presence much more than usual.)  The Saturday night
    meditation has the potential of being the most releasing meditation
    you could imagine.  The first couple of times "the group" of people
    out here who usually go to these things experienced the Saturday
    night healings left virtually everyone in the room crying.  It is
    less pronounced now, probably because we're "more healed" than we
    had been.
          The one-day is pretty nifty, Kasper...it's different than
    either an evening or a 2-day in that you probably won't get any
    kind of personalized interaction (out loud, that is) and there will
    be an emphasis on describing how manifestation works (CREATING 
    YOUR OWN REALITY) and then there will be the best opportunity I've
    ever seen to actually get something to manifest.  My suggestion
    is to make sure you have at least two things prepared in advance
    (of things you want to manifest), that you make efforts to eliminate
    whatever blocks may stand in the way of those things (belief systems,
    etc.) and then, make every effort to not doze off, etc. for each
    of the different manifestation techniques that you will be led through.
    I thought the presentation of CYOR was dynamite...2 or more hours
    spent in detailing the hows and whys of it's viability.  I would
    very much enjoy your perceptions afterwards.

    Your description sounds like what I need right now and  I'm looking

    It's marked on my calendar and I will have no trouble coming up with 
    a couple things (not really 'things', rather states) I would like to 
    manifest.  

    Your statement about trying to remove all blocks before attending...  
    If I could do that, I wouldn't really feel a need to go.  Do you really
    mean remove them???  If so, how?

          Terry, you are correct...if you could remove them, why go?
    But what I am trying to say is that manifesting is sort of a two-step
    thing.  First you process, then you program.  What Lazaris does
    in that session is the programming part.  The processing is up to
    you.  It just may well be that you can process like cheese, but
    don't have any idea how to program.  Me, I now know how to program,
    but have difficulty with the processing.  This all ties in to the
    "getting what you want, but not necessarily what you ask for" stuff.
    Every thought we have, manifests.  So, which thoughts do you want
    to manifest here and now? Or, which thoughts will produce the 
    thing you want manifested?  Sometimes we dilute the thought by
    having sabatoging, conflicting (but related) thoughts and therefore
    our programming seemingly doesn't work.  So, as I say, process.
    Process out the extraneous, related thoughts.  Reduce them down
    so that the thought you want to manifest is focused and "pure".
    How?  Well, I don't have my Lazaris notes handy, but it involves
    asking yourself questions.  Questions such as what do I want?  Why
    do I want it?  Why do I *really* want it?  How does my child (within)
    feel about it?  What about the adolescent within? What does my 
    ego (negative ego) say about it? And there are more questions beyond.
    But if you can remove outside reasons, e.g. doing it to impress
    your friends, doing it to be better than others, etc., then the
    reason can be "pure" and focused and can link up easier with what
    it is you are trying to manifest.  I know I'm not being real clear
    here, but this is roughly what I'm talking about.  The Lazaris video
    on Manifesting is real good for talking about this (on which he
    also does a meditation similar to what he does during the One-Day.)
    The one-day gives you about 5 or 6 different techniques, which he
    has everyone do...therefore you can get a heavy, heavy dose of 
    powerful programming techniques for the thing you want to manifest.
    Here is another hint:  try to keep the thoughts the same.  In other
    words, if you see yourself standing next to a shiny new car, make
    sure you are standing in the same spot each time you visualize it
    and make it as much alike each time you do (don't make it a Ford
    Escort in one visualization and a Cadillac in another, e.g.)  So
    again, the "homework" can help set this up (by eliminating extraneous
    reasons, by honing down exactly what it is you want----clearly 
    defined.  Enough?

        Someone (even me) may have already mentioned this, but I will
    say it anyway.  It appears that Body, Mind, Spirit magazine has
    a Lazaris article in it every month.  This month is no exception.
    The article is on Self-Esteem.
    
        At the Lazaris workshop I attended last night they had some
    new tape listing brochures available.  They are fairly nice (glossy)
    with descriptions and prices listed.  I picked up several extras.
    I do not know if these will be mailed to people on the mailing
    list or not, but for those of you *not* on the list who are interested
    in one, send me mail and I will forward it to you (as long as I
    have some.)
    
         The topic last night was wonderfully appropriate to discussions
    we've been having here lately.  It had to do with
    processing/programming.  I always catch myself thinking "Gosh, I
    wish so-and-so (DEJAVUer) were here to hear this."  I don't wish
    to retype my notes, but I may put a portion into a reply.  I will
    consider making copies of these notes for anyone who can read
    hieroglyphics and knows how to fill in blanks. :-)

         I just concluded an evening (Friday) and 2-day (Sat. and Sun.)
    with Lazaris.  What do I say?  Well, I have done dozens of Lazaris
    workshops:  afternoons, evenings, 1-day, 2-days, 3-days, 4 and 5
    day intensives...and can say that this weekend's was one of the
    3 or 4 most emotional I've ever done.  Lazaris had us going on an
    extraordinary journey!  What would you find as a "newcomer"?  
    In order to not *spoil* things for any of you potential attendees,
    I'm not going to say much, but I will say that Lazaris covers
    the gamut of what is spiritual (after all, the topic is "Claiming
    your Spiritual Potential".)  That is not just the humor as he tells
    about religion (and their failings) but the essence of what we
    are all about.  If you do not know what your spirit mineral, plant,
    and animal are...if you have no idea how to connect with your Higher
    Self, then you will be given an unique opportunity to establish
    these valuable links within yourself.  There is more...but better
    left out at this time so that those of you journeying for the first
    time can bask in the feelings of anticipation.
         There were, as usual, people from all over at this workshop...
    from Canada, from Hawaii, from New York, from Oregon (to the extent
    of my awareness.)  To travel to Philadelphia from where most of
    you live is definitely not too difficult.  If you are wavering and
    can't decide whether to attend or not, let me take the risk and
    assume a responsibility here by saying, "YES", by all means go.
    It may well be the most important journey you have ever consciously
    undertaken.  I am definitely not kidding about this.  This is way
    too valuable and serious to me and to the integrity I wish to maintain
    to risk my own spirituality by any sort of deceiving or misguiding
    "goading" of anyone.  Again, if you are anywhere near close in 
    deciding whether to attend or not, let me strongly urge you to
    make the decision in the favor of definitely going.  This workshop
    is absolutely a "blue ribbon" workshop...it is a winner all the
    way around.  It maximally underscores the "reason" for having
    called Lazaris into our awareness/reality.  
         Let me just add one more thing.  If you stay conscious throughout
    (paying attention and not going to sleep) you are virtually assured
    of an experience you will never forget and will always be grateful
    for.  This one is dynamite, people!

    Hi Frederick,
    
    I had really wanted to go to Philadelphia with Meredith and
    Janice for that weekend, but an unexpected vacation to Europe 
    for two weeks in May has fallen into place.  Even though my
    parents are paying for my passage, I'll need to save my
    pennies for spending money.
    
    Gee, Frederick I was so busy 'creating' a travel reality, that
    I forgot to 'create' a means to attend the Lazaris workshop.
    Guess I'll just have to settle for the tapes when they become
    available, cause we can't have it all (or can we)!?!   (;')

    OOps!   The weekend in Philadelphia is apparently not the same one.
    It is one I did a couple of months ago.  While significant, it is
    not the same.  In any case, there are still the similar parts
    (the "healing" meditation on Saturday night, e.g.) which are ALWAYS

        Ro, when it's "right" for you, then your priorities will be
    different.  As I have said before, for me a Lazaris workshop supercedes
    almost everything else.  I, too, am working and closing in on

    mail yesterday.)  It also ties in (for me, anyway) with 1094 a little
    bit.
       The flyer is a description of a Lazaris Intensive being held

Is Frederick out there somewhere? ...or perhaps someone else knows...
I have a question about Lazaris.

Has he addressed the existence (or lack thereof) of the Christ, the 
Buddha, or any of the other historic figures who have been widely 
considered to be embodiments of divinity?  If so, what has he said?  If 
not, how has he addressed the issue when asked (assuming he has been 
asked)?

This is simply a point of interest from my perspective. I am not infering 
here that he should or should not acknowledge them, so this is not any 
sort of challenge.  It isn't intended to incite a religious debate or 
even a riot... :-)

    I think Frederick mentioned something about a Lazaris intensive
    this week (not positive).
    
    I have a couple of Lazaris books at home.  I'll check and see if he
    answers those questions.  I don't think so though because I've been
    puzzled on where he stood on the Masters and don't think I've ever
    heard it explained in depth.  Frederick mentioned it somewhere a long
    time back, but it wasn't clear to me what he (Lazaris/or Frederick's
    interpretation - dont' remember which) meant.

   From what I have listen/experienced from Lazaris he tells of the Bible
being written and rewritten and rewritten...and than claimed to be the
direct word of GOD...with laughter...He does recognized Christ but in a
much more human way and with laughter.  He suggest that *no one* is a master/
Guru or higher evolved.   NO, not even him, he says he is just a friend. 
   He has also suggested that Christ is not going to come down on a floating 
carpet one day, or appear on prime-time cable.  He suggest the second coming 
of Christ will happen inside each of us(internally).

   Some of the extraterrestrials of unidentified flying objects are products of 
mass consciousness.   At one time you, as humanity, created a god in your own
image.   The primitive people of religion created their gods to be pretty nasty
sorts of characters.   Some would say that the original God of your Old 
Testament was one pretty nasty sort of guy....(laughter).... According to that
Testament, many were killed in the name of God.   According to history many more
were killed in his name...

   Who really did that?  Was it really God?  Or was it...."Hey, I spoke to God
last night, and God told me to kill you."  (laughter)  "If I don't want to be
responsible I'll blame the big man upstairs."Yes?..8^}

   Further down the page : Remember now that is the god who said that because
one woman ate one apple, all woman for all time must suffer..(laughter) Now,
there's not a human being on the planet that carries a grudge that long...
(more laughter).

   But you see, that's what the people wanted.  They wanted a god that would
do their bidding.   It wasn't GOD/Goddess/All that is; it was the people who
claimed to speak for God.

   Well, God sent his only begotten Son to give the New Testament, the new law.
According to the New Testament, Jesus came for your sins, but he also brought
the new law.

   The New Testament says the new law replaces the TEN Commandments.  That was
the thing;   Replacing those ten commandments here's  one new law.  Simple.
Love God above all others, and love others as you would love yourself.   And
all of a sudden God became much more compassionate.

        Thanks, Meredith, for typing that.  Jeff, I believe I have written
    a reply that answers to that but I don't know in which note it's in.
    He has mentioned Jesus, mostly indirectly, many, many times.  And very
    little "relative" time is spent on this subject.  Even this past four
    plus days he mentioned the "Christ consciousness."  First off you must
    understand that all things/nothing exist.  Within that, reality is
    how you choose to see it and how you are creating it.  Within that,
    what particular consensus view do you hold onto, whether conscious
    or not?  Now then, from the view of *my* particular reality, Lazaris
    has said that *to the extent that Jesus existed*, he was not as
    depicted by our historical novels (favorite religious novel...the
    Bible.)  In *my* reality I infer that Jesus was a somewhat composite
    character (though *a* Jesus seems to have existed) akin somewhat to
    the character Shirley Maclaine spends time with in her book "Out
    on a Limb."  Lazaris *Has* acknowledged that we hold onto a consensus
    view of a "Christ consciousness" which was prevalent 2,000 years ago.
        It is difficult to talk about someone who didn't exist, isn't it?
    And it is difficult even to talk about this subject given the diverse
    opinions, judgements and understandings that everyone has on it.  I
    would guess that he would prefer not to put energy into things which
    have little importance to reality as it is...especially if that reality
    is based on total illusion.  What's real?  EMOTIONS, feelings and
    thoughts are real...not books, churches or teachings, etc.
    
         Before you run off and quote this, however, I will add that the
    above is MY interpretation...if you don't see it in writing from him,
    be careful...even hearing his words could lend to different
    interpretations.  Let me say what I have also written before...that
    Lazaris has said it would not be inappropriate to act more like the
    Jesus we believe existed.  There *are* limitations in that
    consciousness, or at least in the perception/acceptance of that
    consciousness, that may have a negative impact.  Even yesterday
    Lazaris hinted that we "shouldn't" try to be like he is, for he
    is not human and doesn't have human emotions (such as anger, etc.)
    *WE* are human and have human emotions which are there for us
    to feel.  
        As you can see, I'm starting to divert...

    A few notes back on the Christ-consciousness...
    
    I believe that Lazaris tends to focus his message about demystifying
    Christ/God/Etc. on those who were sufficiently burned by a form of
    fundamentalist Christianity early on.  I say this based on reading 
    his books, attending 2 of his evenings and from what Frederick has
    written in here over the last few years. (;^)  If this is truly part of
    his mission, then he's doing a wonderful job at it...bystander opinion
    here.  
    
    It is quite sad that there are so many misconceptions about
    Christianity because of the interpretations of those with a more
    fundamentalist slant.
    
    I actually blew the dust off my Bible about a year ago or so, and seem
    to recall reading the following passages as spoken by Jesus while he ws
    here hanging out in the flesh with the sinners (paraphrased):
    
    	On miracles performed:  "These things and greater ye shall do."
        On discipleship - just before he left:  "I have imparted all that
                          I can to you.  Now you should no longer refer
                          to me as Master, but as a friend."
    
    If there are any Bible scholars out there, feel free to search for the
    appropriate verses.

	Well I did it.  I spent this past weekend with Lazaris in his
	"Becoming the Alchemist" Seminar.  I could write several hundred 
	lines about what I experienced but it probably wouldn't make sense.
	All that has been said in previous notes about his seminars I now 
	understand.

	This reply is to thank you (and the others) who have shared their
	what they learned, but particularily you since it was a few of your	
	notes, combined with a few other 'taps' on my shoulder, that led
	me to the past weekend.

         Speaking at least for myself, thank you.  But of course the
    greatest thanks go to you, for taking the steps and having the courage
    to follow through.  As a mapmaker, you, too, now have an insight
    to the enormity of the world within that has doubtlessly been augmented
    by those two days.  As any of us who experiences that knows, returning
    to the world we "left" on Friday can be rude and can work to let the
    experience not be real.  How?  Because this reality has been set up
    by prior programmings...holding onto new programmings will change the
    reality but can take time...time enough to allow the negative ego
    to invalidate what you are setting into place...then this reality
    can be the same old place.  Except that it never will be.  No matter
    how much invalidating our negative egos may do, they can never erase
    our memories nor can they prevent the items that will come up at least
    daily that will cast a different flavor or light upon the world as
    you knew it before.  While anything can do this, those 2 days with
    Lazaris probably do it better and stronger and, maybe the most
    important part of all, do it with more love and "fun" than has ever
    been real before.
        Thanks for the report, may it work out for you to repeat the 
    experience some day (for each experience is unique and virtually
    as powerful or more powerful...why else would I keep going?  ;-) )

    Truth is (not to go into a lot of detail ;-) will write off-line) I
    still want to go, but I have a friend who I'd like to have go with me. 
    However, $125 is a lot to ask someone to pay for something they aren't
    familiar with.  I would treat but that's big bucks when the person may
    not even enjoy it.  (P.S. Frederick, your note has helped me a lot on

    I'm gonna be at the one-day on October 19 here in Atlanta.  I attended
    a two-day a couple weeks ago and am looking forward to this one.  It 
    took me a year to decide to spend the money and I'm glad I finally did.

    His workshop was the first thing I've gone to/participated in that has
    done more that just fill my head with more "cosmic stuff".  I learned and
    discovered more about myself in those two days than I have in the last
    two years.

         Great!  The time may be too short to do too much preparation
    (not necessary, but useful primarily for a greater depth and
    less overwhelm) but there are certain tapes available that could
    help...such as the tapes on blockages, self-pity, deservability,
    co-creation, manifesting, etc. (which all somewhat relate to the
    topic.)  The day-long I just completed only had one blending
    and one meditation but I suspect yours will have more, if only
    one more (your day-long is similar to the day-long we had about
    4 months ago, I think.)  As Lazaris says, there are no prerequisites
    to growth, jump in anywhere...the advantage "newcomers" have is that
    of refreshing enthusiasm and wonder; the disadvantage is that they
    may have to work a bit harder to cull information (although not so
    for the feeling or experience.)  The "oldtimers" have an advantage in
    understanding to a greater depth in terms of information and can
    perhaps seek different things from the feelings or experience; the
    disadvantage can be that they allow no newness or humility.  But 
    virtually everyone can enjoy the experience and, if the are willing,
    can really learn a great deal, not only about their reality but
    especially about themselves.  There will undoubtably be "homework"
    during the breaks...I suggest that it be seriously done or attempted
    (in other words, don't socialize, instead, if that will be a deterent.)
    Keep in mind that he will be done within minutes of the scheduled
    ending time. 
         After spending four days with him two weeks ago, having only
    one day seemed way too short.  I don't know what his impact in just
    one day is to a person who has had little exposure to him...(I am
    far more familiar with expressions from people after just an
    evening or a 2-day.)  So, it will be interesting to hear your
    comments afterward.  As Terry and Meredith and Janice (the only other
    ones in DEJAVU that I am aware of who have attended two-day workshops)
    can probably attest, much of this information will be very personal,
    and talking about it to others may not be terribly constructive,
    one, because they can't relate and two, because they can not get
    to that state of enthusiasm one may feel and therefore will work
    to "bring one down" rather than help, whether intentionally or not.
    So, if your experience is positive, I would not expect you to lay
    it all out, but it will be nice to hear about it just the same.
    If in the remote chance your experience is less than that, then
    I'm sure you will express that, too.
        Anyway, have fun...oh, they will undoubtably be selling stuff
    at the back tables (tapes, books and calendars along with crystals
    and jewelry and lots of pretty things.)

   Another zinger!  By the end of the day I was wiped out. Again I discovered
   much about myself (my bottom line) and gained insight into how to work on
   it, being aware of when it is stopping me how to keep it sealed in that 
   miserable black box!  

   This was my second experience with Lazaris, both being wonderful.  This one
   built on what I discovered in the last one and just like last time, I am at
   a loss for words to describe the experience sufficiently.

   I love his humor!  And, most of all there was this incredible feeling of 
   being loved.  He can woke up some of my darkest 'secrets', forcing me to 
   confront them but with such love and understanding that it goes beyond 
   description.

         That's great, Carole!  I have very little idea (of my own
    experience) how "good" other psychics, etc. are...but I do know that
    at least from a psychological point of reference, no one does what
    Lazaris does any better.  One again we were dazzled by the "therapy"
    Lazaris performed during last week's Intensive.  It's stunning to
    watch him "know" the person and analyze their problem and give them
    solutions to the problem...all in the space of 20-40 minutes.  You
    can't help but be impressed, or, more importantly, helped in your
    own process by your participation in that.  Of course, I am assuming
    that this is what will be occurring during the Intensive as it has
    happened in all of them so far, but it's also possible that he'll be
    doing something different than this.  We'll find out...
    
        Lazaris asked us to keep the observations of the analyses
    confidential, even changing or omitting names would not be enough.
    He outlined several reasons why he suggests this...so, I won't be
    saying anything in more detail about that.  I may, however, write 
    something else later on.
    
        Anyway, I know it's fun, so have some!

    A couple of Lazarus seminars and tapes have caught my interest.
    The seminars actually may be one by now.  The first was listed
    in 1987 and was called Realizing Lemuria.  The second was from
    1989 called Lemuria Revisited and Renewed.   Has anyone been to
    these?  And if so,  would you mind sharing a general overview
    of the content and experience?
    
    The tapes are called Lazarus Remembers Lemuria and Lazarus
    and the Dolphins.  Anybody ever listened to these?  If so,
    what are they like?

    Hi alison.  Both of these titles are music tapes.  I have them
    both and like them quite a bit, mostly for meditations.  Lazaris
    uses them (as well as others) in his workshops.

         I mentioned the music tapes in the CLO::MASSAGE notesfiles.
    They are good tapes for massage-type activities...as Terry suggested,
    even for meditation, if you want.
    
         As for the Lazaris (not, LazarUs) Lemuria workshops, the original
    Lemuria workshop was 3 years ago and he repeated it twice over the
    succeeding 12 months and then renewed it again in Atlanta just a couple
    of months ago.  I don't know if there is any intention to repeat it.
    Each repeat workshop is likely to take it to a different depth, however
    (in consideration in part for repeat participants.)  So the material
    would never be identical. 
         As an example, here is information from the flyer I just received
    concerning the upcoming "Secrets of Longevity, Clues to Immortality
    Phase 1" workshop:
        "This beautiful weekend will be offered three times in 1990 (in
    Ft. Lee, New Jersey, in San Francisco, Ca. and in Atlanta, Ga.)  Each
    weekend WILL BE DESIGNED UNIQUELY FOR THE AREA AND FOR THE
    PARTICIPANTS. [capitalization, mine.  FAW]  Therefore, some of the 
    topics Lazaris may discuss are:

    I had a great coincidence happen the other night.  Apparently another
    fellow who lives in the same town I do received a Lazaris mailing. 
    Mine was stuck to his, so he called information for my phone number and
    we talked for quite a while.  
    
    He's not a Digital person, but is interested in meeting some of us at
    the next gathering in Boston.  Apparently he has had personal 1-1's
    with Lazaris going back as far as the 1970's.  And if we have a DEJAVU
    dinner in the near future, he'd love to attend!

       During the four-day intensive that just ended, I met someone
    who lives in Cambridge...she'll be there, too, I'm certain.  
    The point is that she has only lived in Boston for about a year
    or so and says she has found people there to be less than 
    friendly.  I told her about this group (which is obviously
    quite friendly ;-)  )  So, I gave her a couple of names to look

I'd like to invite anyone who is curious about channeling or curious 
about Lazaris to attend this workshop/seminar. I've been to several of
them and always found them informative and enjoyable. The atmosphere
is very comfortable and very positive. Since I know of 8 to 10 people
who are planning on attending, we're sure to carpool to Braintree, so
transportation shouldn't prove to be a problem for anyone who would
like to attend. If you would like to attend and don't feel comfortable
about stating it here, please feel free to contact me off-line and
we'll make sure you are included in any carpool arrangements we make.
(that is assuming you would rather carpool than drive yourself/ves).

         Nice note, Dan.  The difference between a 3-4 hour seminar
    and an Intensive is massive!  It's far, far more than interesting
    and informative (unless you're heart or brain-dead!  ;-) )  I'm not sure
    I can talk much about this one that just ended...it seemed that way
    to me the first day or so, but then the information got so intricate
    (and complex for me) that I'm not sure I can even begin.  Perhaps
    I will, but only with the clear understanding that it is but a very
    tiny part of what was experienced there.  This was my ninth Intensive
    in four years...and was just as wonderful as the rest.  Every time
    I experience one I wonder just how it could be topped...and every time
    Lazaris manages somehow to succeed.  The stories I could tell... ;-)
    
        Last night I was sitting at the Los Angeles (LAX) airport waiting
    for departure when a fellow Intensive attendee came and sat next to
    me.  I told him (and he agreed) that the experience always somehow
    seems to change both the world and my experience of it.  How just
    looking at the people going by seemed like a surrealistic experience...
    how the colors were muted, the activities trivialized, all life 
    somehow taking on a different perspective...
        It can be (and is, for some people) a truly transformative
    experience.  The 2-day can do this, too, but an Intensive is very
    likely to "hit home."  Some people, it seems, have transcendent
    experiences.  What Lazaris does, or provides, or allows us to
    do for/to ourselves, is awesome, truly awesome!  If you do one,
    you're unlikely to not be impressed.  
    
        I will not give more details about my new friend in here...
    doesn't seem appropriate.  But I will try to get more information
    gathered to make the meeting become likely.

    of the various types of causality (Upward, Downward, Past, Future),
    or perhaps a reference to an appropriate note ?   The concept was
    mentioned elsewhere recently and sounds interesting.

         Thanks for the compliments...actually, all I've done here is
    to regurgitate notes from workshops.  I stopped primarily for a couple
    of reasons.  One, that I am not up to the task of being comprehensive
    (after all, these sessions are from 4 hours to 5 days...volumes and
    volumes of information.)  That means that I may be leaving out
    important and key points...points that could conceivably turn someone
    away, and that's a responsibility I don't want.  Another reason is 
    that I feel it is up to each person to take responsibility for their
    own growth.  It is not up to me.  I have provided a few sparks,
    perhaps, but I do not wish to hold everyone's hand and do it for them.
    If they really want the information, they will seek it, whether it's
    from me, from others or from Lazaris.  There will be visible
    motivation.  I will be entering a couple more notes, though, from 
    a few workshops I have attended.  Notes that may provide an impetus,
    a seed, a way of getting ideas into the consensus which can help
    my own personal reality.  So, for that reason, I will be adding some
    more.  A new motivation...
         As for a book, yes, I am planning to do exactly that.  I plan to
    start by springtime...and it will only "coincidentally" contain 
    ideas such as these.  It will be more fun, probably with lots of 
    growth (by pain and by ribald fun...sex!   ;-) )  When I am finished
    with it, I'll pass the information along.  (Perhaps a combination
    of Richard Bach [lots of self-flattery with this one...but not really,
    this is my ideal...] and Warren Beatty's character in "Shampoo.")
    Can I succeed?  Will I do it?  I'm making the popcorn now...

    I knew that, I wasn't tying the value of your efforts to their content
    or their source.  Your obvious motivation to understand the nature of
    things, plus various useful aspects of the Lazaris experiences you are 
    absorbing are probably creating some fantastic resources in you
    for solving all kinds of problems.  
    
    	IMO, many people have knowledge, but not much energy to use it, and 
    many people have energy, but limited experiences to help channel it 
    effectively, and a few rare people have both.  With both, there is 
    tremendous potential in the world, and I greatly appreciate the value 
    (positive or negative) of that.   The two authors I mentioned in .144 
    were not chosen arbitrarily, they represent the impact that energy and 
    knowledge can have on the world, in the specific area of literary
    productiveness.

    Ca. named Harmony.
         What I didn't mention in that note is that they show Lazaris
    videos on Monday nights (with "full permission from Concept:Synergy")
    and charge $5.00 for the evening (from 7:30-9:30 p.m.)  The 
    schedule that I have shows every Monday night through Dec. 17
    being used this way.  Of course, this competes with Monday night

    you that it was jam-packed with stuff...it was almost like a

    	The last time you placed a schedule in here, I checked the Atlanta
    newspapers to find where Lazaris was appearing and found nothing.  Any
    ideas how I can find where he will be in Atlanta?

         Concept:Synergy doesn't advertise in newspapers, so forget 
    doing that in the future.  
         Personally, I have no idea where they go in Atlanta, I have
    never attended a workshop there.  But if you call them in Florida,
    they can tell you (and may even provide you with a local Atlanta
    number of someone who may possibly be in charge of arrangements
    there, I don't know.)
    
         The 800 (free toll) number is

        I received a message this morning from a noter who is in Europe
    who told me that they were able to purchase a copy of Lazaris'
    "Sacred Journey..." book *in German.*  I had not been aware of this
    translation.  Anyway, I called Concept:Synergy to ask about it
    (and to find out if it is available in any other language) and they
    told me that a German company has the rights to the book there, but
    that this is the only translation currently available.
        So, for anyone who may be interested:  Voila! (as the Germans
    are unlikely to say!  :-}  )
