Since I began reading this notesfile, I feel prompted to tell a
two stories that involved the same two people that I've known since
I was 11 years old. These people used to own a furniture store
near my parents house. I worked for them, my job was to dust the
furniture. Anyway, here are the two stories.
#1: My husband and I were riding on our motorcycle one Sunday
afternoon. A friend of ours was having an open-house because he
was selling his house. Well, we decided to drop in hoping we would
meet up with him. As we were getting off the motorcycle, a car
pulled up behind us. Since I didn't recognize the car, I didn't
expect to know who was in it. However, I did suddenly get a strong
feeling that I was going to know the people in this car. Well,
as we went into the house, a few minutes had passed by and there
they were, the two people I've known since I was 11. And yes, they
were the ones in the car I described.
#2: It was the week my father had passed away. During this time
I thought of these two people a lot, hoping that they would come
to the waking of my father. Well, because they hadn't learned of
his death until a day after the funeral they couldn't possibly have
attended the wake. The day after the funeral, my sister and I had
gone to a department store to pick up a few items. As I entered
the store I had this sudden strong feeling that I was going to see
these two people there. We had been in the store for awhile. As
we approached the checkout counter and there they were, approaching
the checkout counter. When I saw them I didn't feel at all surprised
that they were there. It was as if it was supposed to be that way!
It may not sound very psychic to many, but I felt compelled to share
it here.

| It sopunds as if you'd some sort of telepathic equivalent of a sense
of smell and you "smelled" their presence.
Not as odd as it might sound. In some primitive societies, so-called
"witch smellers" were able to identify people who practiced curses
and other forbidden stuff. They didn't really "smell" the guilty
parties either. [Of course, sometimes an innocent person was
identified by a "witch smeller" if it was politically or financially
expedient to do so. Nor were the people they "smelled" really witches;
it's a tag, like "witch doctor," who generally didn't minister medical
aid to witches.]

I've had that happen to me just recently.I was expecting the real
estate broker over with someone who wanted to look at a house we
were renting.I had a strong feeling that the person that was coming
i knew well and also that they were a member of our church.Sure
enough,when they came it was just as i had felt!It was quite an
experience when i saw them.
Also my fiance' and i quite often connect telepathicly and we know
what the other is thinking or is going to say just before we say
it.It usually involves a strong desire to say something,like when
you suddenly feel the need to express or say something important.I
find myself sometimes walking away from her and suddenly getting
a strong thought and i will turn around and she will say what just
came into my mind!Interesting.

Sounds "psychic" (at least in the broad sense) to me. It is frequently
impossible to *absolutely* eliminate alternate explanations such
as "wild coincidence" (since there are very many possible wild
coincidences some wild coincidences occuring are to be expected just
by chance, so, paradoxically, wild coincidences are not at all uncommon),
but this sounds like an excellent candidate for a genuine "spontaneous
psychical experience" as us parapsychologists say.
