I recently acquired the Hermetic Tarot deck. I haven't been able to
find any info on it and wanted to know if anyone's familiar with the
history and how they feel/use the deck. For those who haven't seen
it, it's in black and white (I'd prefer if it was in color as my first
deck is the beautiful Graham Greer deck) and quite elaborate in the
graphics. It also has identification statements at the bottom.
The symbology is dramatic and I think, powerful.
When reading the tarot, I usually get the answer as the cards are being
shuffled and one card in the reading becomes pivotal. Frankly, I don't
know if I read the tarot or just use 'pick up' on what's needed.
This deck intrigues me and I sense is that it has a lot to teach me (within
the symbology). It makes me wonder if I need to shift my perspective
somehow. In using this deck (very limited and just testing it so far) I
haven't connected to it nor do I feel the info's very accurate; at the
same time I'm quite drawn to it - this (disconnectedness) is different for
me as I've used a few other decks and can related to and get info from
them almost immediately.
Does anyone have any thoughts or comments of this? Thanks.

Lora,
Since you have now had and been using the Hermetic Tarot Deck for
about a year, I was wondering if your feeling and use of the deck
have changed or improved.
