Does anyone have any information about this subject. Messages
from Michael is the only place I've seen reference to it. I'm
also curious about the differences between twin essences and
the concept of soulmates. Bach wrote an interesting story about
soulmates in his book Bridges Accross Forever. My feeling is
that it was a neg. belief which made Bach's experience so trying.
There was certainly a lot of fear involved. On the other hand,
accepting we're worth what we really want can be a fearful
undertaking and involve assuming more responsibility for who we
are.

For those of us who haven't read "Messages from Michael", can you
explain what is meant by Twin Essence?

Kathleen: I don't have an answer for you. I put it in
notes because a friend showed me the passage in their
book Messages from Michael which gave a short blip about
essence twins. I haven't been able to find the book locally
and therefore - the note. We had been in a discussion about
soulmates and this reference came up. The passage described
similar qualities which soulmates are supposed to possess,
however they seem to have an even more compelling attraction
to each other than soulmates. Essence twins have an
interesting twist in that they are literally mirrors for
each other and the fear of confronting 'oneself' is so
overwhelming that they often cannot get to their essence and
become bitter enemies.. Rarely will they recognize this
(according to michael) however, when they do and work thur
it the relationship is very powerful and permanent.
I don't know much about soulmates either but now that my
interest has been peaked I thought I throw it out for
comments.

This conversation picqued my interest when it first
appeared. Can someone add more info on soulmates and
twin essences? How does one recognize a soulmate? Do
soulmates usually spend time together in each lifetime?
Would a soulmate be a spouse, or could your soulmate
be your mom or kid or brother? Or next door neighbor?
Is the relationship positive, or could you have a "bad"
relationship with a soulmate, to work out karma?
