re .1
From the subtle energy stand point, thoughts and feeling are put
into the air, they are non-tangibly tangible....words are symbols...
conveying thoughts - because
we don't see the thoughts we think there's nothing there...someday
when vision is clearer we will be able to see these things hanging
out, yup, right in front of us...depending on how conscious we are
or aren't we can bump right into them...and as we 'read\ them and
hear ourselves say them we think they must be ours....cause we
aren't talking to anyone...we DON'T THINK we're talking to anyone
or at least hearing anyone. But we are.
Yes, information is transmitted "magically" by that I mean it
has form even if we don't hear, see, smell, taste it...and it can
be transmitted over any distance if the thought is strong enough.
I know if someone doesn't like me, if they're afraid, reacting,
if they feel love for me, if they think my clothes are funnylooking
or my hair looks odd.....I know because I ask myself a question
when I start thinking these same things...."do I have a reason to
feel this way?" If yes, I decide what I want to do about it..if
no, I ask whose thought is this...and I always know, you will know
that it\s not yours because you'll stop feeling how you were feeling.
We need to love ourselves enough to forgive ourselves when we think
ill of our being, and love others enough when they think ill of
us, cause usually its just that they think ill of themselves.

| In the early 1970's, Dr John Grinder, Professor of Linguistics at
the University of California, and Richard Bandler,Gestalt therapist
and computer expert, studied the behavior of some of the world's
foremost commucicators to discover what made them so effective.
From their findings, models have been developed-with specific skills
and techniques -which provide a highly efficient technology of
communication. The technique is called NLP - Neruo Linguistic
Programming.
Yes thoughts are things. They can be read. Ionce roomed with a
guy who could read a person's thoughts and feelings just as easily
as I read a book. It was a little unsettling till I got the
difference between acceptance and approval straight.

| I've done a lot of this with friends. At one time , I didn't have
a phone so me and a friend of mine would comunicate with thoughts.
It was very affective. I would know when she wanted me to stop by
for coffe or if she wanted me to bring "that picture" or "That book"
I've also done some of this with my sister. It was a little different
in that we would be having a conversation and since one of us would
know how the other was going to finish a sentence , we very often
wouldn't *finish* the sentence and anyone witnessing the conversation
would be very confused.
I have done some *talking* to people before I ever met them. I also
feel that I have spoken to or in some way been aware of a very *old*
me(may be in my 80s or so) I'm now 28. But I felt that I was able
to pick up on some of the wisdom that this old person had.
I would like to try sending and picking up thoughts from people
I don't know. If you want to try then send me mail first.

| My boyfriend 'reads my mind' so well, I have to tell him, "Stop
it!" It can be a little unsettling, but most of the time it's
nice. Sometimes we'll throw the same phrase at the same moment.
pretty funny.
Sometimes I wish I could veil my thoughts a little better. The
eyes really are 'windows.'

| Re .6:
Two examples of a good method can be found in the books _Donovan's
Brain_ by Kurt Siodmark and _The Demolished Man_ by Alfred Bester,
both nominally science fiction.
The idea is to haver something, like a banal jingle, running around
in your head that drowns out other thoughts.
In the Siodmark case, the hero uses a short poem that he recites
over and over again to himself (silently):
Amidst the mists
And coldest frosts
He thrusts his fists
Against the posts
And still insists
He sees the ghosts.
The Bester version -- the jingle -- is incomplete, but the tune
was called "Tenser, Said the Tensor," and the final line was "Tension,
Apprehension, and Dissention have begun." However, and good, catchy
fingle should do it.

For awhile, it seemed that Kevin (my husband) could always hear
what I was thinking. It was impossible to play jokes on him, or
keep anything from him, and although that was very interesting,
it was annoying sometimes. So I started visualizing myself being
surrounded by a lead column whenever I didn't want my thoughts to
seep out, or his to seep in. It worked very well! But I wonder
if I over-did it...these days, he rarely knows what I'm thinking. ;^)

P.S. I've been told by some people that I think very loud. I'm
sure that can be valuable for something...I just haven't discovered
what, yet.
