|  |     Yeah, I've got it.  I haven't read it yet.  The author, Ray Hyman,
    is generally considered the most moderate remaining member of the
    CSICOP executive committee.  The paper was "invited" probably to
    compensate for the basically pro-parapsychology paper that was
    published there four years ago.
    
    From skimming, I get the impression that this is fairly typical
    Hyman.  He sticks to areas where he has strong arguments and ignores
    those areas where he is weak.  He presents the opposing side accurately
    but weakly.
    
    This is perfectly ordinary, and basically acceptable.  To get a
    complete picture, you need to go elsewhere, but, unlike his friends
    in CSICOP he admits there *is* another side, and does not deliberately
    mislead and distort.
    
    I expect no surprises, but will, of course read it.
