With the impending move of SPORTS to either another node or the great network
void, I've been revisiting the idea of creating a SPORTS.DIS distribution list. 
This would be useful for moderators (or concerned participants) to announce
moves or downtime.  It would also be a useful method of communication for
messages that you'd like everyone to get (which may be missed due to high
levels of next unseening) such as get togethers.

I'll be happy to generate such a list.  Anyone interested should send mail to
PLUGH::SPORTS.  When finished, I'll post the list here so others may be able to
use it.

Be aware that if you put your name on this list, you may be opening yourself up
to Hawk's bad jokes ;-) as well as other forms of junk mail.

Discussion of this idea is welcome in this note.  However, any requests to be
added must be sent by mail to guarantee that they will be honored.
