| ETSU is in Johnson City. A small mountain town that is dominated by a
Texas Instruments plant. Traffic jams in this town are considered to
be when three or more cars get backed up at THE redlight. No bull. I
work with a guy who did a co-op there and people would really complain
about this.
My favorite bar band, Brian and the Nightmares, is also from Johnson
City.
Closest "big" city is Bristol.

Johnson City is an hour east of Knoxville with a population of 47,000+.
I am from the "big" city of Bristol, which has less people than JC if
you only count the Tennessee side of town(State line of Tenn./Vir.
runs down the middle of the main street in town).

| Do any of you guys know the whole coaching staff there??? My high
school basketball coach went there after he lead us to one 24-2 and a
21-4 season. Something tells me it was Middle-Tennesse and not East
Tennessee that he went to, but I'm not sure. Any help would be greatly
appreciated. His name is Phil Hopkins.

| Anyone know what the final score of the ETSU Arkansas game was? I
watched most of it but missed the end. ETSU was up by 10 at one point,
but MayDay brought Arkansas storming back and then the pigs were ahead
by 10. ETSU looked like they didn't know what hit them.
I'm still riding this bandwagon, though.

Small nit Dan-l but ETSU played Arizona. Don't quite recall the final but
it was around 90 for the Wildcats and 80 for ETSU...
Wednesday matchup should be a good one Arkansas against Duke. Not sure who
'Zona plays....
look for Hurley to crack under the pressure...

Wow, was I that drunk? I was watching it in a bar at about 12:30 AM. I
wasn't sure if it was a replay or live action. All I know is that I
was trying to settle my gurggling stomaching and beer-clogged brain by
drinking white russians. That's my old Pittsburgh remedy, but it does
have it's side-effects...like not being able to remember crap.
You guys are lucky I'm only riding this bandwagon and not driving it!
