Getting Bo would make them a lock. I believe the little white guy is
Pee-Pee Herman.

| Wasn't Willie Gault part of the 1988 Olympic bobsled team ???
Pee-Wee Herman, Herschel Walker, Edwin Moses, and Bo Jackson would be a
*great* bobsled team. The interviews would be priceless.
Q: "Pee-Wee, you were lousy today."
Pee-Wee: "I know you were, so what am I ???"
They'd have to call it a "sleddie", wouldn't they ???

| Saw,
I put information about this in the Track and Field Note about a
month ago.
Gault, Moses, and Walker all did very well in a preliminary strength
competition. The US is looking to get a strong push and wants
track athletes with explosive starts. Walker was a purty good 60/100
meter man in school. Gault was a sprinter/hurdler with World Class
times, and Moses needs no intro.
If I find out more, I'll fill ya in.

| There was a blurb in SI about this a few months ago. They practiced
the "take off" part on a modified sled with wheels, but really
impressed the coach. Basically, these pushers just get the things
started and then hop on for the ride, so their lack of experience in
the sport can only make a marginal difference against their world class
talents.
