Has anybody been down to Wonderland Dog Track lately?
I hear that there are police picketing and blocking the
entrance to the track. Is this true? Is it safe to go
down there?

The reason the police have been picketing is because the track limited
the number of paid details for the Revere Police Force, choosing
instead to hire private security, for whatever reason. There has
been either an agreement or an injunction limiting the police picketing
to two (2) per entrance.
Should be safe to go there. There haven't been any incidents I
know of where patrons had been prevented from entering, or patrons
had been physically harmed. In fact, with local gendarmes and private
security on the premises, it's probably one of the safest places
in all of Greater Boston.

The Channel 5 news this morning had a video tape of Revere's 'finest' beating the living h*ll out of somebody in the parking lot. The Revere police said he was resisting arrest. From the looks of it on video he was resisting about 5 arrests at once!!! JimH | |||||
