Mr T referred, in passing, to Akio Morita (of Akio Morita and Shintaro Ishihara
fame). They wrote the Japanese book `The Japan That Can Say No'. There's been
quite a hullabaloo about the book, because it has some rather damaging things
to say about the United States, and there are possibly some important lessons
for us to learn about how we are doing business. Anyway, I have a 
( _n unauthorized_) bootleg translation on line. In spite of the fact that this
is a SPORTS Notesfile, I'll request that the Mods keep their hands off this
note for awhile.

Anyone who would like to copy this book to their own directory can do the
following:

Copy COOKIE::DISK$FIG_2:[MJOHNSTON.PUBLIC]JAPAN.NO   (to whatever file you want
                                                      to call it)

It's about 3800+ lines (about 60 some pages)
It's also worth reading.
