| There will be a tournament on Sunday, March 24, in Springfield, MA. The
complete entry form is included below the form feed.
NOTE!! This is *not* a USTTA sanctioned event. If you have a current
USTTA rating, it will not be affected by play in this tournament. If
you are not a USTTA member, you cannot receive a rating by playing.
However, this makes it a good tournament to go to if you just want to
give tournament play a try (ie, you don't have to put down the $20
USTTA membership to play, like you do in sanctioned events.

I think they're Dan's twin brothers 8^)
There was an ad for Rock 'n Roll tennis in SI last week, and it
mentioned that it was like rugby on the tennis court. I wish I could
remember exactly what it said but I gave the issue to my dad....
It was too funny....

Now how the hail can Dan have *two* twin brothers? And while we're
deening our wonks today, are triplets and quadruplets (almost typed
quadrupeds) called tri-brothers and quad-brothers? quasi-brothers?

>> Question: Where did the game of table tennis get the name "ping pong?"
"Ping pong" is a registered trademark of Parker Brothers.
>> Is it Chinese, because the game is so popular over there?
From what I've heard, table tennis originated in England sometime during
the late 19th century.
>> Is it onomatopoeic? If so, I'd think it would be called
>> smoething more like "plick plock."
I'm really not sure. It's very possible, though.

Buy a *GOOD* table. And yes, I HAVE seen players standing on a table

As long as you win the point, NO PROBLEM!!

Yea, haven't you seen those little guys running around before? Actually,
they're about the size of Steven Wright's friend who poses for trophies.
I have several trophies that he's posed for...
