| | The fiercest rivalry in football is definately Alabama and Auburn
Also, as long as they keep playing, the rivalry of the 90's
will be Florida St. and Miami, for the last few years, who ever
loses this game, it ends up thats the only loss they have.

Gotta love it. Can't forget the intense rivalry between

re Rivalries:
I agree about Alabama/Auburn. To the people down there it's
as important as the Civil War was between the Union and
	the Confederacy....really.
Also, Army-Navy has such far reaching consequences. My
Dad's been out of the Navy for *years* and seldom watches
college football. The one game that he is intent on following
	is (you guessed it) Army-Navy....

| | Over all I'd say Michigan-Ohio St. and N.D.- U.S.C. in football,
lately its without a doubt Miami-Florida St...the last 3 years
has been awesome.........FSU is the only team in the last 3 years
to really beat the Canes,by this I mean beat them on the field
and push them around to do it,these 2 colleges continue to field
super football teams and they'll continue to do so,at least at
FSU where they gave Bowden a big contract to stay put.

N.D. is my team and they had better sign Lou to a long term pact
to compete with the afore mentioned powerhouses.

| | I'll second that! In any sport, Ohio vs Miami of Ohio is billed as the
partiers vs the prepies, respectively. At Ohio, we had this little
drum roll cheer and then when it stopped playing the crowd was to
shout, "Go Ohio!" Never once did I hear that. Instead, everyone
shouted "F__k Miami!" NO MATTER WHO WE WERE PLAYING!

One year, the OU administration got wise to the student body and
ordered the band not to play the drum roll at the basketball game
against Miami. The band members leaked word of the restraint and there
was not a drum left to sell in any of the toy or department stores in
Athens, Ohio. The Convocation Center was sold out that night and 2,000
students had drums and were playing the drum roll more often than the
    band ever did.

    Such classic memories.
