| | hats off to the Broncos...... The winning drive at the end was
    impressive.

This Steeler team reminds me of the '72 Steelers. a young team with
promosing athletes who love to hit. I have a feeling we will be
hearing from the Steelrs for a few more years. They need help
    on the pass rush, though.

the Donks had yesterday I'd say they're dog food.

The thing that saved the Broncos was the scrambling of Elway. I didn't
look at the stats for the game, however, I assume he was the leading
rusher for his team. I hope Bud takes this into account, and comes up
with some way to keep him contained.

the ONLY thing that saved the Broncos was, as is usual, Mile High
Stadium. The Steelers thumped the Broncoids for three straight
quarters, unfortunately, they ran out of steam down the stretch in
the fourth. Take the Broncos out of Mile High, and you've got a
    POOR football team.

I think the same fate awaits the Browns.

| | Sorry Jeff, but 'ole Bud's way of keeping Kelly 'contained' in the
fourth quarter almost cost him the game. In fact it should have.
The Clowns were ready to pull another patented gag job, but Ronnie
Harmon (a Cleveland native, I'll bet) saved them. It also would
have been nice if Scott Norwood could learn to kick in a toxic waste
    sandpile.

Mind you, I don't think much of the Donks, but the ghost of choke
jobs past will do in the Clowns.

In any case, it's for the best ...

I'm rooting for an all Cleveland Franchaise NFL championship
with the (ex-Cleveland) Rams against the (present Cleveland)
Browns. For all you NFC fans... you're dreaming if you think
the Rams are more dominant than either the Dawgs or the Donks.
I agree the 49ers are the top team... but the Browns or Donks

BUDs COACH! Modell will remain as owner through the end of the

Trumps $$$'s + free agency = inflated contracts and MORE big stars
in Cleveland Browns' uniforms. Trump will sign NOway to a personal

Just read an artical ... NFL Notebook...yesterday.

The Cleveland Browns may be eagerly awaiting the AFC Championship
game against the Donks Sunday, but they want no part of the city
    of Denver.

    Can't blame them!

Bud Carson said...Everybody that has gone in there and played well
has gone in as late as possible.

The Browns have been told that teams that stay less than 24 hours
in high altitude are generally not affected by it.

The prevaliling theory atthe moment is that the Browns will want
to win Sunday's game more than the Broncos, who have eliminated
the Browns twice in the past three years. Naturally, the Broncos
view this for what it is - nonsense - and look to a more significant
factor, the fact that the Browns must come to pile it High Stadium
rather than dragging the Broncos into the barely civilized stadium
by Lake Erie known as THE DAWG POUND.

NO BONES ABOUT IT...Broncos owner Pat Bowlen is runing the day earlier
this year when he popped off about the Browns after they dumped
Denver, 16-13 (FACT), at Cleveland Stadium in part by bombarding
Eitherway and his teammates with dog bones from the end zone stands.

At the time...Bowlen said, They've got the three worsts in the NFL-
the worst dressing rooms, the worst field and the worst crowd control.
That situation over there is a real bush situation as far as I'm
    concerned.

Those words got back to Cleveland, and Sunday the Browns get back
    to Denver.!

    ...........

Injury update...Tony Blaylok, who suffered a neck injury and was
carried off the field on a stretcher in last weeks game, returned
to practice wearing a heavy plastic neck brace. Blaylock suffered
a cervical sprain when he landed on his head in the fourth quarter.
He will play against the Bronkos.

Kevin Mack, who played sporadically in the second half against the
Bills, also returned to practice. He had a knee bruise.

    LOVE THE DAWGS!!!

For long distance runners, planning on racing at altitudes, the

| | For Carson or Modell to have even mentioned altitude was really a
bone-headed play (but I guess that's to be expected... considering the source).
JD is right about long distance runners (also bicycle racers or any
other athlete that is expending energy continuously over a prolonged period of
time); they really need to train at altitude for quite awhile in order to
acclimate. However, Football players expend energy in controlled bursts of
10-15 seconds, with 30-60 seconds of rest between (and three to ten minutes of
rest when they're sitting out, and the Offense [or Defense, as the case might
be] is in.) The studies done on this indicate that altitude will not affect an
individual's performance under these circumstances ( the brief bursts of energy
scenario). However, an individual's mind can do some amazing things, as people
familiar with pschosomatic studies can attest, and if Cleveland player's
`think' the altitude is a factor, it will be. Carson and Modell have done their
team a disservice.

ready for the altitude? Seems that although they were behind early
in that game, they had plenty of stamina when they came back and
    made a game of it.

but, it is Denver! All the Browns did was ask for a rule
change...and they got it! Its a big game and they want to
be best prepared. I see nothing wrong with that. It looks
like Denver is really worried about it though. Don't they
think that their team skills are good enough??? No, I don't
think so! Reeves knows who is the better team - THE BROWNS.
Home field advantage...when you play infront of your home town,
at your stadium...not when the other team arrives!

Another artical I just read said that the Denver police will
be doubleing up on security and that they will even bring in
their own DAWGS, 4 of them. Just goes to show you who they
    	support.

Could this game turn into the likes of the english socker???

| | Expend energy in controlled bursts? What is that?

I lived in Colorado Springs for 17 years until 1988. I went
back 1 year later, and the mere act of walking up a flight
of stairs had the heart hammering. I am 30 years old and in
good physical shape. I stayed there for two weeks. At the
middle of the second week, I was fine.

I don't buy the seconds here and seconds there of expended
energy in controlled bursts. 60 seconds will not be enough time
for any of the unconditioned puppies from pulling their tongues
back in from panting all over the damn place. The altitude will
be another negative factor for these poor puppies, regardless.
Whether their mental psyche has accepted or shunned the altitude
factor is irrelevant. Altitude *is* in the puppies nostrils.

a sign of a worried football team.

The American football public (and especially true AFC backers and
the network execs) shouldn't be subjected to another blowout of
the Donks by the NFC ...... please win Cleveland.

Numerous folks I've spoken with over the past weeks have expressed
no interest in the SB should Denver be the AFC rep. ....... but I
doubt that will happen. With Metcalf healthy, Cleveland is a better
    football team than Denver.

Whether your heart got hammered or not is beside the point, the
`controlled burst of energy' study was not speculation on my part. I was merely
reporting the results and opinions of various medical authorities who have
studied the subject.

I'm don't question the validity of your statements or the source.
As an ex-resident, in all reality, it is hard for me to understand
performance will not be affected in 4 quarters of extreme exertion.
This isn't the same as being out of breath at Candlestick. This
is being out of breath at Mile High, where the heart will work harder
to recoupe oxygen to the blood from thinner air. I think we can
qualify a football game duration to a long distance runner in they both
exert energy over a period of time. Hence, Cleveland has not
conditioned themsleves to meet the demands the altitude will place
on them. I'm not saying they will lose the game because of it.
They *will* feel the effects of it, and it may or may not hamper
    the outcome.

A jail sentence is a jail sentence. What's the difference what it was
for? I sure would have loved to have seen "officer" Perry's face when
the real cops showed up. The facts are; he picked up a hooker, then
told her he was a cop, showed her a badge (the cops confiscated it),
then told her if she practiced her trade on him for free he wouldn't
haul her in, then along comes the real cops when they see the van a
rockin' and haul in Perry for impersonating a cop (felony), unlawful
imprisonment (misdemeanor instead of kidnapping which is a felony), and
soliciting a prostitute (misdemeanor). The impersonating an officer
charge, which they caught him red handed or badged as the case may be,
and the unlawful imprisonment charge were dropped, which I called long
before the trial BTW. If it were the average Joe Blow on the street, he
would be in jail now. Obviously in Cleveland, they don't care who you
are. Apparently that is not the case in Denver.

    So who's blowing wind?

    	Another day...another beating!

Got a call from dear ol Mom last night...
This is how the beginning of the call went...

    	ring, ring,

    Me: Hello.
    Caller: Grrrrrrrr Ruf, Ruf!
    Me: Awoooooooooo!

We knew what the other one was saying! We were howling!!!

I got the scoop! Whats happening in Cleveland, the home
of the World famous Cleveland Dawgs!

I found out that the whole team is healthy! Good news!
The town is going crazy! Everybody is showing their support.
The banks and businesses are hanging signs on their buildings.
Today, everyone wears Cleveland shirts and whatever else they
can find that shows their support. The big fad....orange shoes!
Everyone is painting their shoes orange.....why.....Eric Metcalf!

Does 90 yards = TD mean anything???

She said that one of the Cleveland reporters that is down
in Denver wrote a little thing about the fans there and said that
the town of Denver isn't doing anything...? Why...because they
know what is going to happen this Sunday...they have the attitude
that there is no sence going to the Superbowl if your going to
get blown out. They know its true.

Bud Carson said that the team is ready! "We will win!"

It seems that all the forcasters are predicting a Cleveland
win and also a Cleveland Superbowl Bash! I watched a show on
the other night called, playbook, both guys predict a Cleveland
win over Denver and one predicts a SB win for the Browns and the
other said that the Browns still have no running game. Huh!
No running game??? We will see this weekend, won't we..?!

Has anyone seen HBO's Inside the NFL yet??? What did they say???
    I'll watch it tonight.

Watch this town go nuts after the game this Sunday...I'm sure
    the lights will stay on!

An artical in the Cleveland paper said that Art M. is upset
about the coverage he is receiving durring the game...He said..
"Why are the camera on me??? I'm not the one doing the job...
keep the camera on the players! He said that he was not going
to be sitting in the owners box in Denver so that the news people
    can't get him on film.
I kind of like seeing him on the screen every once in a while.
I'd like to know what he will do when the Browns do win. I guess
the paper people are making fun of his camel hair trench coat that
he wears...they say they will find him because of it....rummor has
it that his wife is going to get him a new coat. I know that coat
is a couple of years old... Don't be surprised to see him in
orange tennis shoes. I have mine! Their on too! They kind of
make me feel like I can float and I know I can run faster!

    	Awoooooooooooooooooooo!
    		I can't wait!!!

American Standard Team = Sheep Hunter/JERKSONTA/Bronco fans

In case you don't know where the American
    		Standard Team comes from...

Just go inside the bathroom...open the stall where the pooper
is and read the manufature name....American Standard!

    		The Toilet bowl team.....DENVER DONKS!

    	The donks will be P O U N D E D and the American Standard Team

| | Hey White_vacuum_between_the_Ears

Re.122, you talk like Mack(off)is a 12 year old who stole a damned
candy bar. 1. Drugs are sh!t, and anyone caught with them should do
some time as both punishment and deterrent. I don't care if the guy is
Kevin Mack or George Bush, they should do time. 2.Mack was in PRISON,
not a freakin country club. Therefore, as a deterrent, if he has to
walk around in shackles and can't "stay in shape", that's the breaks.
If you were to get busted and sent to jail, should they let you play
with computers so when you get out you can pick up where you left
    off???????

As per the Steelers, contrary to the way your pea brain works, I know
where the Steelers are right now. I just can't believe you act like
the Brown(spot)s went 16-0 this year when they were 9-6-1 and finished
completely one-half game ahead of the Steelers. The Steelers grew as a
team and they are a young team. The years to come show much promise
and They should make the playoffs next year again.

As for the Brown(spot)s(tm), after Sunday, they will be watching the
Super Bowl from the same place as the members of 26 other teams, in
    from of their TV's.

I never said that Mack didn't deserve what he got...I just
think that the guy has made one hek of a come back and that he
is sorry for what happened. He is a community service worker
    in his spare time...

Reguarding the Steelers...If they do make it to the playoffs
NEXT year...it will only be for a wild card spot again...the
    Browns will be dominant again.

As far as Clevelands record goes...Their record should be
14 - 2 - 0 with the only losses comming from your Steelers and
the other one comming from the Bengles. All the other games
should have been wins...they were all decided by 3 points with
the exception of one and most were ot losses. If Bernie was
really healty durring the lossing streak they went through the
    record would be different.
Tell me...who had the best record in the AFC agaist the NFC???

| | Re Genetic Mutations in NFL Football Stadia...
Here's the Deal. The Dawgs in the pound actually descended from
the Hawgs in Washington.
The original Hawg was a girl named Shirley, who used to go out
with one of the guys I hung around with. See, one day she up and
disappeared. Then, we were watching the Giants/Skins game one
day, when we say a Hawg.
Jeff blurts out "Shirley!". She was surrounded by Hawgs... Jeff
immediately yelled, "I knew she was f___ing around!"
So, that's how the Hawgs got started...
Soon after, we heard she'd moved to Cleveland.....
Now, as for that little fairy guy I saw in Donkland Stadium, he
descended from the same space alien that was friendly with a horse
and spawned Mr Ed....
HOpe this Genetics lesson helped!

    Steven,
I think you are losing it. .165 makes reference to notes that don't
have anything to do with the legal rathole. Then your .169 refers to
    yourself, .165.

    Paul,
Denver doesn't throw to the RB much. Elway can't throw touch passes. He
tried a screen last week and it hit the dirt about 2 yards short. The
short passes he throws are usually across the field, where the ball
actually flies 30+ yards in the air.

The Bronco's looked good yesterday against a half-fast Browns team
that was all banged up from last weeks game against the Bills. Its
hard to believe Denver Bronco's are AFC Champs for the third time
    in four years..

Well, all for not.. In two weeks there going to meet a team that
will embarrass them again, like the first time.. Another, boring
Super Bowl.. The game wasn't even over when the odd's makers were
giving the 49er's the edge by 10 points.. It should be by 30 points..

Well, live it up.. You have two weeks before you have your butts

    The Browns lose...what a bummer!

    	Things I don't understand...

Bernie should have been taken out of the game and probibly
should not have played at all...how can you expect the guy to
play with all that junk on his hand???

What about the penalties??? The late hit on Kosar...no
penalty...late hit on Teeth...penalty. Out of bounds catch
on Slaughter...he was in bounds. Both of these calls came in
the first half and on third down...they could have kept the
drives going. I could have sworn that I saw the Donks O line
move on several occasions (two at least) and not get called, then
on the time they don't move...they get called. The refs must
have realized they never flaged the Donks throughout the whole
game. Not to say that any of this would have changed the outcome
of the game...but...maybe it would have.

I also don't think Mack was healthy either...I think his knee
was worse than we were led to beleive. I still give credit to
the Dawg defense in the first half...but...in the second half when
we needed them more...they get burned. The offense looked like
crap! Too many dropped passes, too many overthrown passes, too
many off target passes. Can't really blame Bernie though. I wonder
how well I could have thrown with all that crap on my hand...?

I say, get read of the offensive coordinator! Minifield and
Dixon should go next year...they got burned to often...even though
they just slipped or missed a hit...they still got burned...this
is pro ball...that should not happen! Look for harper and blalock
to take those two posisitions next year...

I like to see how the Browns play in the playoffs with a
healthly QB...I see a better team next year.

To the Broncos...I hope they play the game of their life on
the 28th! WIN WIN WIN! I really hope they do.

Now, as for Eitherway...I would like to punch him in the teeth
so hard that when he opened his eyes...he would see his ribs and
    think he was in jail!

Now, as for the P name...there you go Jake...don't expect
to see it too often though...I'm in class for the rest of today,
    tomorrow and Wednesday...

| | Was it me, or did the announcers keep saying "Elway" in stead of
"Kosar" and vice-versa. I can think of 3 or 4 occasions when the
names were interchanged. If you were only listening to the game
you would've never known who had the ball.

A couple of Bogus calls against the Browns, but it didn't matter
much anyways. The Referees let it be known that the fans could
make as much noise as they wanted from the very start. I couldn't
believe it. Bernie turns to the ref to say he can't hear, and the ref
throws a delay of game flag. Bogus.

Anyways, Elway was possessed. Every time it looked like the Browns had
him, he threw a 20 yd completion.

Con Grats to the Donks... hope they can make a respectable appearance
in the SB for the AFC.

fans. And the one and only offensive holding call of the day came
against the Browns when they were still in the game at 31-21 with time
and about to start another drive.....

Carson could be dumber than Walton. No huddle works to perfection for

It sure looked like Bernie's finger injury was hindering his
passing. His balls were floating on him (go ahead, I know
somebody will catch that one ;^) ).

Metcalf was contained. Good job by the special teams.

If the Browns didn't have to play catch up, maybe Mack
would have been more of a factor.

I agree with the qb hit comments. Call it one way or don't
call it at all! The only reason I could think of that they
didn't call Dennis Smith for a late hit is that he didn't
really nail Bernie. Elway got tatered!

I thought the game would be alot closer, especially with
Kay, Kelly, and Humphrey out. Elway was hot. It's hard
to stop him when he's on a roll.

My turn to Congratulate the Broncos.. They definetly looked like the
better team yesterday, they also looked like they wanted this game 2
times as much as the Browns did. I'm in total agreement, and I assume
the Donkey fans will be too, that the refs were definelty calling a
Bronco's game. I couldn't believe the non-calls on the offensive line
moving (one came on the Elway scramble with "late" hit). But like
everyone has said, it wouldn't have made a difference.

A couple thoughts on the Browns defense.. Carson screwed himself with
all his blitzes. The reason Denver hit the big plays was because
sending 5 and 6 guys after Elway puts the corners in man-for-man
coverage, and also means noone is down field to make tackles if Elway
simply dumps a pass off (i.e. Winders catch and run for a 40 yard
touchdown). In addition I thought Elway had more trouble with zone
defenses. Blitzing every play was a bad decision! Dixon and Minnifield
have both lost a step, and it's costing them. Finally, why do they always
give up a rushing first down on 3rd and long when the other team is trying
to run out the clock. They did it again yesterday with about 6 minutes
left in the game, when they were still only down 13.

In terms of the offense.. not good. Bernie's eratic throwing hurt
them, plus that drop by Langhorn was a BIG mistake. I believe Mack was
definetly hurting, we seemed to see more of Manoa in there yesterday
than most of the season, which hurt the pass protection. Mack is a
    much better blocker.

In all, Denver deserves to go to the Bowl, they looked far superior to
the team the Browns had on the field yesterday. I don't envy Broncos
though.. I wouldn't want to face that football machine from San Fran!

As to the refs calls...It was just another typical day for them! I
saw that play that took out Pat Kelly, and of course the ref didn't
call Johnson for that hit. He pushed Kelly in the back past the 5
yards, and the end result was a cheep shot that blew out a knee. Also
Elway was hit late several times, but I don't remember any calls.

| |
I have seen entries from both Paul and Whitehair in NOTES
today. Probably in one of the kazillion other topics
that are somewhat relevant. So...don't harp about their
absence. As far as the congratulations go, I think I speak
for *a lot* of Browns fans when I say...

    	ARF!!! ARF!!!

Seriously, The Broncos played a good game, and Cleveland let
them control the flow. Elway did his best Elway impersonation,
and it's hard to understand why the Browns weren't better
prepared to stop what they should have expected. Anyone, however,
who ignores or plays down the effect of the officiating is not
being realistic. How much before gametime do the refs arrive?
Maybe they're getting here just in time to have the rare air
affect their decisions/eyesight/fairness, etc. Before anyone
starts replying about how we Dawg fans can't give credit where
it is due, please reread after the formfeed. will not state that
the Browns would have won with different calls, but I will state
that NOONE knows what the outcome of the game might have been if
Slaughter had been correctly ruled inbounds, or The Donks been
called for hitting Bernie after he was down (I don't remember
him going feet-first either, BTW), or Denver being called for some
of the more obvious infractions. I will also NOT state that
Cleveland would have won if Kosar was healthy, but, again, NOONE
knows. Denver won this game. Denver was the better team. But,
even owner Bowlen (I think) stated that Denver "needed the drive"
in '87, and "needed the fumble" in '88 to beat the Browns, so I
interpret that to mean that the element of luck plays a larger
part in the outcomes of these games than many Denver fans are
willing to admit. If the Browns were not better than the Broncos
because they had beaten them earlier this year, than the Broncos
are not better than the Browns because they won yesterday, by the
    	same logic.

If you've gotten this far, let me reiterate, to help stem the
tide of "poor loser" accusations, that the Broncos deserved to
win yesterday, becasue they executed better. Elway was at his
best. The best-team-of-the-moment came away the victor. And,
for my own self-esteem, let me add...

    	GO NINERS!!!

I wasn't going to say anything about the fans but Todd calling the
Cleveland fans the "WORST", I can't resist. Actually I found most of it
    pretty funny but...

About 25 yards from us in the parking lot was a contingent of Dawgs in
full Dawg regalia. They were doing Cleveland cheers, not one word about
Denver. Denver fans were giving them the finger, even though one of
them was a little kid. A Denver radio station was set up in the parking
lot. I couldn't believe it when they started a Cleveland Sucks chant
over the PA. People had on F*ck Cleveland T-shirts. The one lady wasn't
amused when I asked her if she was really planning on taking on the
whole city. There were Cleveland Sucks T-shirts. I didn't see anyone
wearing anything insulting to Denver, and there were allot of Cleveland
fans there. It appeared that allot of Denver fans were trying to out
Dawg the Dawgs. There were horse face masks, painted faces, dyed hair.
Some of the Denver fans that were insulting the Dawgs for their get-ups
in Cleveland should have been there. I could have sworn it was
    Halloween.

| | Yeah, those little kid Denver fans shouldn't be giving dawg
fans the finger until they are at least 16...;^).

Lest anyone think this is typical behavior for Denver fans, let
me describe some of the things I saw at the Giants game. There
was plenty of light-hearted ribbing in the parking lot. We
sat in the notorious south stands. Whenever a Giant fan would
walk in front, people would razz them with light boos and hisses.
The Giant fans would smile and the whole crowd would get quite
a chuckle out of it. Never, ever did it appear hostile.

Not that it's right, but Denver being treated as badly as they
were EVERY time they go to Cleveland probably brought this on.
Where do you think, albeit stupid, the radio station got their
idea of driving by the Browns hotel and honking their horns?
Giving somebody the finger and wearing t-shirts is nothing
compared to dog bones, batteries, and eggs being thrown! I
wish everybody would use better judgement when it comes to stuff
like this. However, it is usually just a few dip$hits causing
    the trouble......

the taunting is in fun, and helps get them charged up to support their team.
I've never been particularly upset if every fan in Cleveland dresses up like a
Dawg. And Donk fans do the same type thing. Are you telling me you see no
difference between wearing a F*ck Cleveland T-shirt, or yelling Cleveland
sucks.... and throwing bones, batteries, food, and beer at and on the opposing
team? Give me a break. As I mentioned earlier, the Brown orgnization handled
the loss like men, and I was impressed. The Dawg Pound would be well served by
taking a lesson from their team, and from Denver Fans.

   > The Dawg Pound would be well served by taking a lesson from their team

It all boils down to the fact that fans get more hipped up for games
than the players do.. the players get paid win or loose (although
advancing in the playoffs will get you a bigger bonus). Fans get
bragging rights, and a feeling of satisfaction from a victory. In
Celeveland, the Browns are a way of life, heck the first 5 minutes of
the sermon on Christmas eve at my home town church was about the Browns
victory over Houston (how it related to Christ was beyond me).

As Clay Matthews said yesterday.. with all the buildup and hype, it's
    still just a game.

    Tim,
Friends have season tickets. I went to the RAIDER and Charger regular
season games and the Championship game.

    Steven,
Yep, sure did. Good looker, too. Glad she didn't swat me. I was just
inquiring if that is what her T-shirt meant. She just gave me a look
like she didn't know if she should be mad or laugh. My tone made it
    obvious that I was joking.

    RE: a couple of replies

Nowhere did I equate throwing objects to vulgar chants. As a public
service I put in that info to prevent some of the Denver fans from
injuring themselves by patting themselves on the back so hard. Believe
it or not there are jerks in every stadium in the country, Denver
included. One of the guys that I went to the game with told me that
last week some jerk sucker punched a Steeler fan for no apparent
reason, other than being a Steeler fan. He said they were passing each
other and this guy decked the Steeler fan and never broke stride.
Considering that it was the AFC Championship game and the rivalry
between the two, and their fans, I was amazed that a radio station
would incite the crowd. When Cleveland pulled within 3, I let out a
couple of whoops and a few people around me were obviously not in a
friendly mood. So I just shut up. There are very few reasons to resort
to physical violence and rooting for a damn football team certainly
    isn't one of them.

| | Good points, Hoot.

I've seen this same behavior at Foxboro, Fenway, and, of course,
the Gahden. Also, I've witnessed it in Chicago, Milwaukee, New
York, Cleveland and Detroit. I'm sure I'd have seen it at other
places, I just haven't been to them yet. And, this is over the
past 30 years or so. It's not something new, but I do think it's
gotten worse over the past 10 years.

The shame of it all is that this is what is noticed/remembered about
a particular stadium, city, etc. The vast majority of fans of any
given team are probably ashamed by the actions of a relatively few.

Hey, I even know a few *ss-holes who work for DEC! :*)

Congrats to the Donk fans. When all is said and done, the book
will show that Denver won the AFC for the 1989 season. NO asterisks
about fans, weather, officiating, etc, just the scores and seasonal
    records.
